amika super strength repair wash + care set

Love this shampoo and conditioner set it smells great and leave my hair feeling so soft

I literally bought this back in October and it’s now March and I haven’t gotten my second bottle yet! My hair is soft. It feels very natural. I get my hair dyed professionally and this product is so good for hair.

I decided to try this shampoo and conditioner after seeing so many fantastic reviews online! I must say it was really nice. Shampoo smells lovely, works well. Conditioner was okay. This care set box included decent sized hair products also a small size of repair hair mask and detangle primer spray . The mask works very good. Haven’t tried spray yet. I have curly hair it’s long and can get frizzy most humid days. I am over 50 and have salt and pepper hair color. In the AC my hair looks nice . Haha.I use Paul Mitchell flex sculpting foam mousse and super skinny serum for styling and help with frizzy hair. Both products smell great. I use a wide tooth comb in shower that’s it.I have had a lifetime of scalp issues and dry hair and tangles. These hair products make my hair feel nice shiny and lighter. Hope this helps you !I gave 4 starts because of price. Wish it was more affordable. Otherwise great products!Only first used, any changes I’ll give another review! I go through products often when it comes to washing my hair and scalp!

Amika has been my faithful companion for many years. It's a great product if you are looking to strengthen your hair and have a healthy and noticeable result. I have used several to see which one suits my hair type and The Cure is always in first place. Its texture is soft, it is a silicone free product, it repairs brittle hair from the second wash, and the best thing is that it protects it from the heat. This kit is amazing, it comes with a small sample of mask and a detangler that smell delicious.

I purchased this set because the detangler is AMAZING so I thought I'd try the shampoo and conditioner. Unfortunately the only good quality about both is that that they smell nice. The shampoo leaves an oily residue on my hair (you can feel it when you are trying to rinse and see it after you dry your hair) and the conditioner has no conditioning properties at all. It leaves my hair a tangled mess that even the detangler couldn't get out. The first time I used the set I actually thought maybe I forgot to use the conditioner, but I didn't! That's how bad it is. I've used it 3 times now and I get the most horrible results every time. My hair looks oily after drying (with a hair dryer) and I've never pulled so many knots of my my hair in my life! To make matters worse, I can't return it. I can't believe I just wasted $55!

I am in the military and have to wear my hair in a bun everyday. Because of this, I have experienced EXTREME root breakage that sticks straight up at all times. I started using the mask and some of the leave in spray to slick my hair back, along with the shampoo & conditioner and it is almost completely gone. Absolutely insane. It’s been like 2 weeks of consistent use and it has improved 70%. Cannot recommend enough. Will repurchase forever.
