Sport Ball Inflation Valve Kit (5 Replacement Valves) for Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball and Football

I was having a terrible time removing a leaky valve from an often used basketball. Needle nose pliers did not work, it was simply biting off pieces of the valve making it even more difficult to grasp. I also didn't want to push the valve inside the ball and have the thing bouncing around in there for the rest of it's life. I knew there had to be a better way and I'm glad I discovered it....the "Pump Up the Ball" tool! I literally had the valve removed in seconds with this tool. I had no issues with it and it worked as advertised. Installing the new valve with the tool was even easier. A level of dexterity is required for this job and I have always been good with my hands and tools so I had no issues whatsoever. This is now my number one tool for all future valve replacements!

I used this for my Wilson evolution basketball and it worked fine. Wasn’t super hard to get the valve out. I didn’t end up needing rubber gloves to grip the tool without my hand slipping but it came right out. To inset the new valve in, I had to put a drop of soap on it to get the edge of valve to slip past the retainer. Worked out and been holding air for 2 weeks now. Way better than buying another $80+ basketball

No part of this product worked. I had a relatively new basketball that had a leaky valve. I should have just spent the money for a new ball. The valve remover just tore the existing valve apart and I had to push it into the ball to get it out of the way. I installed a new valve from the kit and it leaks, the ball is flat in 1 day. Terrible product experience.

Great for the tachikara SV-5WSC ball. Works well but it requires some elbow grease. Instead of using the tool to insert new valve directly through the valve, I took previous reviews advice to insert from the outer ring of valve which worked better. This helped save me 30 bucks. Hopefully no more leaking.

So I bought this because my son's basketball keeps deflating. The first issue I saw was that the needle that is used to pull the rubber cord out is too thick. If they made this a bit thinner, I would have better success. I ended up pushing the rubber cord into the ball, completely ruining the ball since now it makes sound when you shake it. I ended up just throwing the ball away. Overall, its a great concept and I am sure if your experienced, this will work well. But for novice people like myself, it was complete failure. Mostly, due to my inexperience. But I believe if the needle was thinner, I might have had a better chance. Either case, it is good product if you know what your doing.

Fixed a nike merlin 2019/2020 elite level ball with a leaky valve ($160 new). I couldn’t remove the original valve entirely without dropping a piece of it inside the ball, but it does not affect its performance. It was difficult to add the new valve to the ball, but I got it done, and it held air. I did have to open up the hole a bit by carefully cutting the edges with a razor (you can’t tell). I write this review after playing one sunday league soccer match. It’s been 3 days since I last pumped it, and all is good.

Product was exactly what I needed to stop my v-ball from a slow lead. Was not sure it was the valve but once I used it, I do not have any leaks now. Good amount of spares in case other sports balls start to leak.

Managed to rescue one old soccer ball, but too wide for many of my soccer balls. Without details in dimensions, or any knowledge regarding your own ball valves, which is no fault of the seller, many may find the task harder than expected. The included tool was nearly useless, as many old valves were quite stuck. I found out from elsewhere and my experience that a corkscrew works much better for removal. And the tool did nothing to help with insertion as it simply gets stuck deep in the valve and makes the task impossible.
