good craftsmanship!
Great product and the price is right for the quality, clarity of viewing and ease of adjusting the viewing fields. A bit heavy but manageable. Took it on a safari trip and was very happy to have it with me

Very Nice Lenses.
I'm a 55 y.o. man who wears contacts. Use my binocs for amateur birding, hiking, and travel. I have very high quality 10x42 and 10x32, and wanted something smaller and lighter for travel. These are almost the same size and weight as my x32mm, so they don't really fill that niche. That being said, they are outstanding. Very solidly built, they are clearly quality constructed. To my eyes, optically they are as good as my other pairs, both prestige German brands. Field of view is fairly narrow, but that is expected for this lens combo.Very comfortable to hold, good ergonomics, easy to focus. Not hard to keep steady. Focus is smooth.Just excellent, especially for the price. I would buy these again, without question, and would highly recommend them. I will move this brand to the top of my list, and if you're in the market for high quality glass, take a serious look at this brand.

Sharp, neutral true to life color
Definitely a bright bin. Excellent value for the price. I only returned because I need 10x.

Good compact binocular but not the best
Pros:Good valueSmall and lightGood image qualityCons:No cover for objectiveIt is compact, good quality lens. Obviously it does not have the best quality lens, but it still worth every penny you spend on.

Excellent for the price
While not the best glass I have, these are quite good especially given the price. Great for travel or for having a pair of binocs handy in the car.

I really wanted to like these, but I just can't!
I really like that they are 7 power and 28mm objectives, but I have to take glasses off to use them. I hope Maven's other binoculars are better. But I wouldn't buy them again.

Way More Than You Pay For
To say I'm impressed is an understatement. Most people that review binoculars don't really know binoculars. They will give 5 stars to an inferior product just because they've never seen really good binoculars. These little binoculars for compact binoculars are far superior to any I have ever seen. I have never looked through a pair that I would waste my money on. My main full size binocular is a $1200 Bushnell Elite. Are the little Mavens as good as the Elite? No, but they come darn close. I would not be ashamed to hand these to any binocular snob who won't touch anything but the best. I'm very pleased and will recommend them to anyone who asks.

So much clearer and brighter than my old pair.
I had a pair of Minolta compact 7x21 binoculars for more than 35 years and wanted to see what a better pair was like. I really wanted the B3 binoculars and even had them in my cart but just couldn’t justify the price. I ordered the C2 10x28 and when I got them I thought they were defective because I kept seeing black. I finally figured out I needed to adjust the eye cups. I never heard of Maven until I starting researching and I love the value compared to the top brands. I was looking at a pair almost twice the price but it did not have ED glass or dielectric coating which are hallmarks of quality. I love these binoculars and hope one day to purchase another pair of Mavens.
