Great addition to the Hero Realms game!
Super fun deck building game. Loved the new bosses, some are brutal! But it plays balanced if you purchase the right cards for your character and play as a team. My husband and I really like hero realms but this game being cooperative made it even better for us. Really enjoying it and looking forward to Continuing the campaign!

Seriously good. Just played through for the first time
Seriously good. Just played through for the first time. Has lots of replayability. I agree its a bit of a shame it doesn't tell you how essential it is to own the hero packs first. We luckily did. Other than that, its extremely well put together and turns a casual decking building game into a full fledged dnd style campaign with a Arkham Horror style boss battle. Can't recommend this enough.

Expands to Solo and Co-op Campaign Play
Really adds to the game by allowing co-op and solo play in the campaign mode. Campaign play is essentially a choose-your-own-adventure booklet where you take one or more characters through the story, deciding what to do at each story branch. You'll gain experience from completing the encounters and spend that experience on upgrading character abilities. There are also points where you will acquire unique items from reaching certain points in the campaign. Replayablity is there because you can take different character combinations (see Character Packs), and make different choices in subsequent plays. Low price point, quick setup, simple but fun gameplay. Thumbs up and high recommendation from me!

This game is a blast top play with my son. Directions could be clearer. Still a lot of fun. Even more so when you get 4 people in on it.

My only complaint around Hero Realms is that everything comes separately... Love the game. Particularly enjoy the Ruins campaign - my daughter and I are looking forward to the co-op play.
