It’s good quality and A good product

This backpack is adorable but be warned. If you have a little woodchipper or paper shredder of a conure (as most are) the 'screen door' on one side will immediately become an easy exit route. The rope perch was surprisingly sturdy and pliable. Clip on food/water dishes are great!! Made hurricane evacuation a breeze but definitely need to keep an eye out for nibblers.

I'm sure the plastic shield will scratch over time, but initially it looks great. I'm a big guy, but had no problem with size putting the backpack on. The bottom includes rubber feet and there are two zippered doors (including the window one) and two pouches, one zippered and one velcro. I haven't been able to get my conure to accept it yet, but I'll try each day, it took him about a week before he'd use a freestanding perch I'd bought that sits atop a tripod. This backpack is lightweight, but could certainly be used for a small cat. I'd rather not put a heavy cat in it since I suspect it may not keep it's shape, but for a medium sized bird (or a small mammal) it's great. I'm looking forward to being able to take my parrot on errands with me to see if he likes the adventure.

Poor quality and its outside part is very rough

This carrier is okay, but I wouldn't use it regularly. My thought was I could put my birds in here and go for a walk. I also have a baby stroller that I rigged to hold a smaller metal bar cage. In comparison to that, this has some flaws. First, there is very little ventilation besides a few holes. If you use this on a hot day, your pet will have no flowing air. It's similar to being in a hot car with the window cracked. Not the best. Second, the perch, food containers, and overall size make it suited for a tiny bird, like a finch. My green cheek conures, which are a fairly small birds, seem too big for this. Third, putting this on your back and walking, forces your birds into a constant up and down motion, which might be bad for their feet. I'll use for emergency runs to the vet and what not, but for outdoor fun, I'll pass on this.

The bird bag comes with a rope perch, food cups, tray and mat. Outside, it's very well made and is a nice weight. I have a green cheeked conure and he fits inside easily. We don't use the rope perch because it moves too much. We have our own home made perch on a tray which fits into his carrier bags so he can be steady and not be ruffled or fall over when we're carrying him around.When the bag arrived, the plastic on the front was stuck to the edges and we had to pull it off really carefully. There are still some tiny pieces of plastic still left on the side but you can't really see it. I love the big open front because it means my bird can see what's happening outside. It's perfect for summertime and taking him on walks.There are 3 pockets to hold his treats and extra stuff in case we need anything. The tiny bowls clip on to any perch and stays put but if adding water to one of them, the water needs to be a very low amount otherwise it will spill everywhere in the bag. The shoulder straps are comfortable and the bag can easily be carried by one strap and our bird doesn't fall over. The air holes are a good size, my bird can't even poke his head through so that's a good thing. Overall, a nice extra pet carrier bags for us to have to help our bird get used to walks. His other bags he has associated with going to the vet, so we're trying to give him a different carrier to be more fun. He seems happy enough already.

Not recommended due to the case collapse. And no accessories for bird to stand expect the rope such as little tree branches. My parrot fell multiple times.

I was disappointed with backpack as it was smaller than I anticipated. Don’t feel it is big enough for an African Gray Parrot as there is barely any room to move around. It is more for smaller birds.
