I've had a slightly older version of this model speaker from JBL for years, and I LOVE the thing! My hubs asked for a Bluetooth speaker for this last Christmas, and I was stoked to get him this one, since mine is still working great after years of use, including many a shower karaoke concert.This little speaker has absolutely lived up to the expectation! For a relatively small speaker, it gives great sound quality and volume. It pairs easily with mobile devices, and it's sturdy enough to handle being dropped and jostled around. Also, it might not be its biggest selling point, but I really love the little clip built into it that makes it easy to hang up in convenient places when there's no flat surface to set it on.My hubs is using his a lot to listen to audiobooks at home, (he prefers "out loud" sound over earbuds) and the narration voices are clear and crisp. He's told me he loves it, and I'm not at all sorry not to have to share mine anymore. This little speaker is a great quality for its price- I highly recommend!

But after taking it kayaking down the Buffalo River, I’ve completely changed my mind.First off, the sound quality is way better than you’d expect at this price point. It’s crisp, full, and can get pretty loud without distorting, even in outdoor settings. But what really sold me was how tough and waterproof this thing is.I flipped my kayak multiple times, completely submerging the Clip 5 while it was actively playing music. Not only did it survive, it didn’t even flinch—music kept playing loud and clear afterward for hours on end. No weird crackling, no muffled audio, just solid performance.The built-in clip makes it super easy to attach to a backpack or dry bag. It’s super convenient, and I didn’t have to worry about it getting lost or floating away.If you need a small, rugged, and reliable speaker for adventuring (or just about any use), this is a no-brainer. Total win. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

Super good sound, easy use, stays charged for long periods of time, Super durable and strong clip, the colors are not the best but the black is very sleek. Super small and fits anywhere. Works super well.

I bought this JBL wireless Bluetooth speaker for my teenage daughter, and it completely blew us away! The sound is crystal clear with great bass, and the volume gets surprisingly loud without any distortion. It’s compact, super easy to connect, and perfect for her room, the beach, or even just hanging out with friends. She loved it so much (and honestly, so did I) that I ended up buying a second one! The battery life is solid, and the build feels sturdy and high quality. Absolutely worth every penny—JBL nailed it with this one!

This speaker easily connects to bluetooth for use, and shocking how loud it is The clip is extremely useful, went on a bike ride and had it clipped to the bike playing music. Love that it's portable and great battery life.

This speaker is great! It is lightweight and the clip feature is convenient, making it super portable for my needs. The sound is full, loud and clear. Charging is easy and lasts quite a while. If you need a small but powerful lightweight speaker this is it.

Love the style and convenience! Sounds grwat!!! Price is reasonable. But the 12hr battery life is a big stretch of a claim. Made a point to test this and it lasted about maybe 5-6hrs. I had high hopes at first when the battery remained at 100% for a few uses. It then dropped to 75% after this the battery drained relatively quickly. From 75% to 15% so that's a jump lol . Overall I'm happy. No promise of battery life has lived up to its claims in any product I've ordered so it's not a total shocker.

Excellent quality as always from JBL. The speaker is compact and easy to take with you especially with the clip. I like to attatch it to my backpack while camping or fishing or I can set it wherever while I am doing chores outside or around the house. It is impressively loud for its size and the sound is clear even at high volume. It has a very long battery life as well and it’s waterproof! I would recommend this speaker.
