No finishing, just plain sheets of wood pasted together, that too aren't cut cleanly, probably done by a hand saw, not a machine saw.Fitting of the slider lid is slightly imperfect.Looks okay from distance, quality of wood is alright.The thickness of wooden sheets making up the box is 7.5mm, the thickness of the sheet used as slider lid is 2mm.Dimensions of the box are 10x10x3
