Both of my teenage boys play hockey and Shock Doctor hockey shorts are our go to. These are very well made and very comfortable to play in. The Mens M will fit both of my teenagers and will last a long time. The elastic waist is very soft so does not pinch your skin when playing. The velcro is very strong, on both the front and back, and holds socks great. The cup is built in so does not move around at all. These also wash great and keep their shape. We really can't say enough good things about them. If you have a hockey player, these are a must to have!

These supporter shorts provides good comfort and ventilation. The included cup is a decent size for protection and the integrated pocket keeps it securely in place. While I haven't tested its shock absorption capabilities up to 100 mph, the overall build quality is impressive.

The mesh fabric is comfortable and breathable. The cup is held loosely in place with the pocket that is sewn into the mesh fabric, plus two strips of fabric. There are small velcro flaps (two on the front and two on the back). I am not clear on the purpose of those velcro flaps, but perhaps that is specific for hockey uniforms. The cup itself is solid and will provide excellent protection from flying pucks.
