We ordered this for our son's girlfriend, and she loved it! It is a little larger than I probably would have liked so pay attention to the overall measurements as it is larger than a normal 8 1/2" x 11" item. I would definitely recommend it for anyone who enjoys journaling, drawing and even medieval period type items.

Just do it! If you're going back and fourth (like i did for a good 6 months before buying the perfect journal) just buy it. Im so happy with the size, the quality, the amount of pages and how flexible it is. Its the perfect journal to record my journey (for writing and drawing) this journal is just perfect.(the ONLY suggestion i have would to be to let the customer pick the type/color and order of gemstones but even so this is an amazing buy.

Beautiful! No imperfections. Each piece of paper was perfect. A fancy store in the mall had one like this for a lot more. I came to Amazon & here was one very similar. Same size but less than half the price. I ordered it on a Friday and it came on MONDAY! FROM INDIA! Via DHL. 3 days over the weekend from India people. That was kind of amazing to me. I bought this as a gift. But now I want one. I feel like a Wizard when I hold it. And I love smelling it. Don't judge me! It's leather. And my wizardry powers are strong.

Gorgeous! Exactly as described. Only thing is stone colors vary, but I use it everyday and I would buy it a hundred times over.

I was so excited to get this journal that I researched for a while. I bought it for my daughter for Christmas. Mine does not look as pictured. The leather is nice but the stones are not colorful at all. They are very dull and all of the bottom stones are the exact same color... dull yellow brown. Not the shakra colors. Wish mine looked like the others. I ordered a new one from a different company hoping it's nicer than this!

The craftsmanship was more than anyone expected. Truly one of her treasured gifts of all time!

My son and I bought the same type of leather bound journal 10x13 w/chakra stones, purchased from two different companies. Although they look similar, at first glance, they are actually unique and slightly different.Both smelled of leather and glue upon opening, but that'll fade in time.I bought mine from this company, that you are reading my review, so I'll always have my journal 1st in photos.My reason for 4⭐'s and not 5... Is because the stones are not placed in the correct order (on either journal.) The 7 chakras are very specific, each have their own placement, color, & meaning: going from head, or crown, to the base of your spine! There are multiple types of stones for each area but the "placement" of those stones is very specific.CROWN: clear quartz ⬜3RD EYE: amethyst 🟪THROAT: sodalite, lapis lazuli 🟦HEART: green aventurine 🟩SOLAR PLEXUS: citrine, tiger eye 🟨SACRAL: carnelian 🟧ROOT: red jasper 🟥My journal is darker than my son's, and when comparing we found other differences too. The stones on both are incorrect, as I already stated, but my journal has a black mesh material sewn into the whole inside. The other one does not and you can see the "stamp" on his, but it's really blurry, my stamp is most likely covered by the mesh. I actually like the look of the raw leather, on the inside, much better but Oh well. The clasps are really kool looking and do work, to lock it closed, so they aren't just for aesthetics. Lastly, the embossed leather pattern is different between the two, but that's why they're unique and one of a kind. And, mine is slightly heavier and bigger than my son's.The paper encluded is nice & thick, it's sewn into the leather, and does look weathered from the stained leather. We actually like that look, so no complaints here.All in all we're happy with our purchase, just disappointed the stones aren't in the proper place!!!Thanks for reading my review and Happy Priming ✌️😉

The media could not be loaded.  I generally don't write reviews but this product was so well made that I had too. The leather is vary high grade Sattle quality. That means it's 100% authentic. The craftmanship is remarkable. I can see how you can rebind the paper too refill the book .The spine is tied togather with a leather thread. I purchased 4 books in total. And evaryone has different authentic stones. Perfect size for skeching.
