This pole comes in several sections that screw together. I had concerns about how it would hold up to the wind with a 3’x5’ flag. It works great even when we had wind gusts 40mph.

Beautiful pole but it's always tangling my flag

I got this as an extra flag pole so I didn’t have to swap out my flags as seasonal flags went in and out of rotation. If you know how to clip your flag to the rotating tabs, then you will immediately notice far less flag binding issues. On extremely variablewonky-wind days, you’ll still get an occasional bind, but they are rare. I’ve used this pole in horizontal and angled positions for my American flag 🇺🇸 and it works perfectly in angled position 95% of the time. In horizontal position, I have had zero binding. Don’t hesitate to get the pole. Just understand that it is mainly for flags with eyelets. But you can also use it for pocketed flags, if you remove the lower attachment ring.

Didn't know I had to put together

Goes together really easy. It works well to hold a suet cage. If it gets pulled over it is still intact, and I just needed to put it back in the ground. Not bent at all. It should hold a flag really well.

DOES NOT FIT IN REGULAR CONVENTIONAL FLAG POLE MOUNTS! Cheaply made on all levels. But at the very least, fit your engineering to size!

This is the second pole I have purchased. I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality. Also, since in has three sections to the pole I fully expected it to come apart with the flag blowing in the wind. It has remained together and has not loosened up at all. Really great product, highly recomend.
