Super well made. Beautiful
I wanted a bird bath that was not made of toxic plastic, nor of toxic Chinese ceramic glazes. This bird bath is absolutely perfect. It is a deeper bath, so I can fill it less often, but the birds have chains and edges to hang on to when I have the water deep, and as the water evaporates, they can eventually get in and take a bath as well.At first I thought I would need to glue the copper bowl to the cage so that the wind wouldn't blow it out but there is absolutely no danger of that. I physically took it and swung it, near horizontal, and the bowl never flew out. The entire piece is pretty heavy... I hung it on a branch that was probably an inch and a quarter around and felt slightly bad in doing that, but I don't think it will hurt the branch. My only fear is that someone will steal it since it is so beautiful. I took the advice of bird experts and put bird feeders and bird houses and this bird waterer in one tree and I now have a gorgeous tweeting of tons of birds to listen to every morning. I didn't have as many birds until I also gave them the water they needed, so don't just put out feeders. They want water as well. My front yard tree is now THE local hangout for the neighborhood cats as well....

Attractive. Simple to install. Birds are drinking like crazy.
The bird bath is easy to hang. The copper looks good, attractive. The birds lined up like at a Starbucks for water as soon as I hung it. Easy to clean.

Nice copper
Pretty item. Does the job and gets a nice patina after while. Needs to be filled often.

🦋 Love it!
Best bird bath I've ever seen or owned. Great quality. I've tried all styles & materials. I hung it immediately & the birds & squirrels came out of nowhere to get water while I was putting the hose away. It is beautiful. It is very deep compared to all the other styles I've owned. I see birds drinking & bathing in it daily. I like the size. It will not be dashed about during thunder storms like larger flat bowls. The bowl, frame & chain are very sturdy & nicely finished. The copper bowl will reduce mold & algae growth in the summer months. No more pennies or copper wire-YAY! I will post another photo later as the bowl develops a patina. The squirrels hang onto the tree with their rear paws & grab the edge of the bowl with their front paws to drink. Too cute! Cardinals, chickadees, hummers, finches, sparrows, doves & jay are all enjoying their new watering hole!Update: chain & frame began developing rust after only 3 weeks, so spray w/ a clear coat before hanging outside.

Looks great
I love the copper finish. It has a black water ring that did not wipe off after having water in it for a week.

This is NOT copper AT ALL, it is ALUMINUM anodized to LOOK LIKE copper. But still looks nice.
Ok, this seller needs to ‘fess up that this claim to be a copper bowl is complete baloney. If it really were copper it would cost 2-3x more than it does, it would have a richer color and would weigh more - or would have thinner thickness of bowl material. It would also have a completely different ring to it. I’ve worked real copper before, and this ain’t it. But I figured this claim was not true when I bought it because of the price (have you checked the price of copper lately?). So I wasn’t surprised. But this seller should be shamed into posting the truth about this thing, hence the title of this review. I don’t dare use copper cleaner on it, as that might damage the anodized finish of the aluminum. As far as the rest of this product is concerned, It is a simple and sturdy assembly for what it is. The fork “feet” should be a bit longer and perhaps spread further apart so it more stably anchors in the soil. But it is adequate. The long steel pole is also adequate, but when the bowl is full of water, it does lean a bit. But since it is next to my fence I don’t really care. Buyer just needs to be aware of the shortcomings. For the price you pay, it’s just fine, and it is just what I wanted.

birds like it!
I like the materials used, and although the bowl shows signs of corrosion, that is to be expected with a copper plated bowl. Very easy to clean.I thought the base was a bit unstable, but that is due to the soil, not the base.

Works just fine
I like that I can jab it into the earth easily since where I live is sloped and rocky. I added a rock in the middle since there really isn’t a perch for the birds to land on. They like it okay, but not as much as my concrete bath.

Better than anticipated
I bought this to attract more birds to my yard. Within about a week, they discovered it and started using it. I hung it in a tree where I hang the bird feeder during the winter. I love it because it is small enough for me to lift, clean and refill and it actually hangs perfectly level - which most things don’t! I love the colour too, as it looks natural. I have only had it for about 3 weeks but it seems to be durable.

Hangs well in tree, plenty of weight to stop it blowing around in the breeze.
Seems good quality. Haven't had it long enough to find if steel frame will corrode. Hefty enough that it doesn't sway in the breeze.

It is very beautiful
Looks like it will be easy to change water often and clean. I have not installed it yet but I imagine it needs to be installed at a location where it is easy to reach (to change and add water) and where there is not too much wind as the water may spill out if the wind is strong.

Perfect if it was level & not crooked
The black metal base that holds the bath looks like it was welded incorrectly so it does not hold the bath level. The birds don't seem to care but if this was placed somewhere that I'm directly looking at it all the time, it would bother me.

Nice size.
Very sturdy and nice size. One spot where copper finish weak and worn but otherwise I like it.
