Tastes great. Super high caffeine though. Two teaspoons and I was extremely clear-headed and spinning. Lol. The quality seems pretty good, and the texture is perfect; it blends well. Very healthy; good antioxidants. The color isn't as bright, but bright matcha is usually the ceremonial grade. Value for money was good.

You have to like matcha to enjoy this type of drink, but this brand is not only gluten free, which is needed in my family with those of us that have an allergy. The matcha powder is very finely ground and really easy to make. We tried an iced matcha latte with regular organic whole milk with a bit of honey and voila! It tastes delicious. This would also be really great with just hot water or for a refreshing drink, iced matcha lemonade! Good value too.

I reorder for health benefits and my daughter uses it for lattes and baking. Wonderful Matcha Green tea that's organic and looks good. I praise the Lord Jesus Christ for leading me to gain knowledge about Matcha Green tea.

The worst part about this matcha is the color of the prepared tea is dull (brownish) so my favorite part of the matcha tea aesthetic has gone missing when I prepare this. I'm going to be honest and mention that this Carrington Culinary offering is of the quality and price of a matcha you might expect to find lurking on the twice marked down shelf at a TJX style discount store. And as the saying goes, "You get what you pay for". LOL It's culinary grade and rather bitterly bland, and it has no yumminess unless you add something extra that will pep it up. Upon opening the nicely sealed package, you will see that the powder is a dull yellowish to brownish green. And let me say this right here: a dull hue in matcha tea powder is NOT a good sign. An emerald green Matcha powder is what you want. But there's hope! Being organic and earthy tasting, when I added finely crushed green mint leaves and warm soy milk it made an interesting and healthy tasting altenative evening drink. As it doesn't seem to have a high caffeine content , it brings a mellow vibe. It may also be good for making sauces or whatever, so for this low price, it's worth ordering some I think. Plus maybe you'll get a batch from a richer flavored harvest. FYI: Mine was dated best by 10/01/2026. Matcha Tea is like wine in that harvest date affects the flavor.

I love drinking matcha tea in the morning, it's very healthy.

Don’t know what I was thinking going for the cheapest, but the price is reflective of the quality. Sad grey color, pasty mouthfeel, and lackluster flavor. Pretty depressing, really… Yeah, wow, just had another sip and it was worse than the first. Not worth the $5 save. Too bad too the reviews seemed so solid.
