UL Certified, sturdy
This was easy to install and works well. We like that it is a dumb charger - no software to worry about syncing with car or phone to get it to work. We can schedule charging on our car so did not need a smart charger. We like that it is UL certified and that the company was very responsive by email around the time of purchase. I like that it is made in Canada. It feels much sturdier than the Aimiler level 2 we purchased and returned.

Well Built, easy plug and play level 2 charger.
More and more manufacturers are deleting the previously included mobile chargers when purchasing a new EV. I had the misfortune of being of the of the lucky ones in my new EV purchase. We recently got rid of our 21 Telsa Model Y and got a 23 Ford Mach-E. While we had previously installed a NEMA 14-50 plug that served us well for the included Telsa Mobile charger with a 14-50 adapter; Ford wanted to charge us $500 for the same setup.The Grizzl-E Classic is a well built, cost friendly, cosmetically attractive and easy to install charger. I like how I could choose been themes for the exterior cover of the charger and to which we ultimately went with an Avalanche one to blend in better with the garage background. The charger came well packaged with a surprise bag of microwave popcorn.(maybe a Canadian thing 😊 ) Setup was easy, I simply located a spot close to my 14-50 plug, found a stud, installed their bracket and it was up and running in no time. With the existing 14-50 plug, no electrical knowledge is required. I really like the quality of the charger cable(thick) and the actual J1772 plug as the top metal prong is metal(most are plastic) and the release button is the same type of metal. I also like that the cap for the connector is physically connected to the edge of the plug.As to charging, my EV had no issue connecting to the Grizzl-E and it starting charging at a stable 8 kw. There were no charging faults or issues with my last several charging events. As to the lack of smart features, I really don’t think that’s a detractor at all as they are not needed with most modern EVs as most have onboard scheduling for off peak charging. I simply plug in and walk away with a charged car the next day without a hitch.Good job Grizzl-E for a well designed, affordable level 2 charger.

Great EV charger, reasonable price
We recently bought a Kona EV. It comes with a 120V charger cable. That does not do the trick. It can take up to over 30 hours to charge to the recommended 80%!Luckily our garage has already a 240V line, so we just needed a charger. A friend recommended the Grizzl-E and so far we are very happy with it. It's just hang it on the wall (it comes with a bracket, screws and plugs), plug it in and your all set. It also has a holster to put the plug in when not in use.What I do miss is an option to hang the charger cable. The box is rectangular and has no option to hang the cable over it like for instance the ChargePoint one has. I used a hook to hang garden tools, works perfect.What I really like it that it has an Adjustable Maximum Current Output (40A, 32A, 24A, 16A) to Support Multiple Circuit Ratings (50A, 40A, 30A, 20A).There is a (more expensive) version with wi-fi and an app, we just rely on the Kona app where you can program that charging should stop at a certain percentage. It is recommended to charge only to 80% for battery longevity.All in all a charger that is reliable and easy to use.

Works Great.
My new vehicle has all the bells and whistles in it, was not looking for blue tooth or anything fancy. this unit fits the bill. instructions are very clear and detailed. unit is now installed and working great from my new EV. was concerned about the holster to hold the charging plug and cord as it is plastic. but now that it is installed it works great and is solid, even though it is plastic. overall pleased with the unit and the price.

Excellent Bolt EUV Replacement, Faster, More Reliable, Better Looking, Easy Install
My Chevy Bolt EUV OEM charger has been unreliable. Can't get Chevy to replace it, so researched aftermarket chargers and landed on the GrizzlE. Great improvement!*Reliable! Starts charging immediately and completes the charge every time. My OEM charger would often not start charging at all (on the exact same, 50A, GM contractor installed outlet).*Faster. Charging at 40A default setting for the GrizzlE vs. the 32A default of the OEM charger. Noticeably faster charging.*Installs easily and looks very good! Neat and tidy compared to the OEM charger. Installation is actuall optional, you can charge just by laying the GrizzlE on the ground and plugging it in, however, I wanted the cords tidy and out of the way. Just mount the wall bracket, attach the mating bracket on the back of the GrizzlE with four maching screws and off you go.*No unnecessary SMART features. As most folks say, your car has more and better features for reporting on charging anyway, certainly mine does, so really appreciate the simplicity and removal of additional points of failure in the GrizzlE design.*Built in Canada! Hurray for North American manufacturing and supply chains!*Truly built like a tank. So solid, all metal, huge diameter cords, big screws and bolts, very nicely finished. Like the blue on white finish in my all-white garage.*Cord and plug hanger provided. Appreciate this getting the plug into a reliable and convenient location. Mounted mine right below the GrizzlE.Note that this version is probably not the best version for portability, though you could lift it off the wall mount and transport if necessary. Also note that changes to max charging amperage must be done via dip switches inside the case. Good safety feature, not very convenient if using on different amp circuits. In my case, not an issue.Highly recommended!

Well built EV Charger
Heavy duty, well built, solid device. Easy to plug in once you have a receptacle installed. Simple to use. Just plug in, let the vehicle accept and it charges quickly every time. I’m so glad I purchased this and not some of the others. The reviews are great. The device is solid, built in Canada. The customer service is responsive, pleasant and helpful. I don’t worry about intermittent failed charging issues or App issues. I have a smart car and all the data is available through my vehicles App. This simple, solid built device does what it’s designed to do, and does it well. The charging cord is heavy duty, yet flexible. Next day delivery was perfect. The top selling model recommended would have taken 5-10 days! I was picking up my new vehicle in 4 days And needed my electrician to find time to install and get the work inspected/approved. So happy I went with this charger.

J'ai installé la borne hier et elle fonctionne tel que décrite. Je met 4 étoiles car au même prix il existe des borne intelligente avec application. Grizzle pourrait baisser le prix de celle-ci pour être compétitif.
