Yes it will work on any twin-v. You might have to make a couple of modifications. That’s the same bike I put it on.

I put mine on a 1974 HD big twin shovel and it works fine.

Q: does it come with a mount bracket or something to hold it in place ?

need to know what model your bike is , mine is on my 1995 Evo, where your oil pressure sending unit is mounted. If you have a twin cam you will need a gauge hose line. It comes with a fitting, but I don't know what other bikes it fitts, these are harley

Q: Will this work on a 1978 Honda cb750f

The gauge will but the adapter fitting may not work. the gauge has 1/8" npt threads and the small 45deg fitting has 1/8" npt thread as well. Not sure what thread you have in your Honda Thanks for your interest Jason
