Creative Bath Products Gem Tissue Cover, Red

I wanted "Christmas red" tissue covers, and this suited the purpose. That color isn't available in many other brands.It's quite shiny so is obviously plastic, and for my decor I would have preferred square corners instead of rounded and a flat tissue opening instead of a beveled one. But the color mattered more, and I'm pleased.If you don't want to pay $35 or more for a higher end tissue cover, this is a great option.

We put this on a nightstand. It's attractive and not breakable. Reds come either on the yellow side or blue side -- this one is on the blue side (color is accurate on my monitor). There is no bottom, it just pops on top of the tissue box.

Nicely made. I was afraid the color would not be as pictured, but it was a darker red, not crayon red.

This is a seasonal item for us for Christmas and worked for that. I would not leave a plastic item up for regular use. It is not that appealing for anything other than seasonal color.

I purchased two covers since I already had one that I was satisfied with for the living and dining room areas. They complement our red carpet, and are small enough to fit on the various sofa table, telephone table, and a small side table. The tissue boxes fit perfectly within them as expected. I only noticed on one of the new boxes at the opening where the tissue comes out of, that there was a little sharpness only the inside ridge. I took the fine side of metal finger nail file and it was able to make it smooth with the roughness gone.

This serves the basic purpose, which is why I'm going to keep it. What I don't like was it looked used because it had a few scratches & smudges and wasn't inside a bag or package; there isn't a bottom to it to hold a tissue box in place (if you care about that), and it's more of a deep berry red. In the third picture where you can see the vase, you can see how it does not it match. But it's close enough for this purpose .

Following an international move and return to the US, I have the opportunity to begin again with my furnishings. Going with blacks and grays, with red accents. I really wanted to love this tissue holder but found my aspirations dashed when the first one arrived. Scratched all over! It was put into a box, without any plastic covering the holder, and thus jostled about and scratched. So, I tried to return for a replacement, only to find it arrived in the exact same condition. I guess I can still use it, though close inspection shows it to be marred. The color is perfect as an accent. Hmmm...

I love red. I'm also very picky about my reds. This is by far, among the best. It is a cool, clear red - not muddy or orange-y. When I ordered it, I thought it would be a ceramic-type tissue holder (my mistake) but in fact, it is acrylic. Make no mistake: you would NOT know it unless you picked it up or otherwise handled it. It looks great in my kitchen & I will undoubtedly wind up with several more!
