When I look at the product pictures, I thought they over photoshopped it to make it this dark, but I was wrong. It IS a privacy curtain, so it's black curtain. It blocks all lights. I was actually looking for window shades that I can see through it while driving.So for privacy curtains, this is a 4 star product because most cars that had a metal frame, it's only the top and the two side, the bottom part (where the window rolls down to) are often plastic, so the magnet at the bottom wouldn't stick to anything. As for the back seats, it's actually fine to have the top and two sides sealed with magnet and leave the bottom unseal and it still works pretty well. But as for the front two seats, the metal frame only goes on top and the longer side (opposite to the side mirrors), so the bottom and the shorter side (next to the side mirrors) are plastic and hence the magnet won't stick to it. So the curtain would be hanging on the shorter side and bottom.

It fits perfectly (2024 Hyundai Elantra and 2018 Nissan Rogue) everywhere. The cars much colder with them! 100% privacy

I used these shades on a standard sized SUV and they work great. You may need to fiddle around a bit to get the right, tight fit around your window frame but it's not difficult to install. I'd say the biggest concern is to make sure you remove them all before you start driving, LOL! Allows you to enjoy a nice cross-breeze in the car while keeping out pesky bugs and prying eyes.

Way to dark

The media could not be loaded. I am a traveling nurse and I sleep in my car A LOT!! and these are amazing!!! Complete black out! I work graveyard so I sleep during the day and I need it to be dark! These get the job done! I LOVE them! Omg I was nervous buying them at first because of the bad reviews but these are the TRUTH!!! BUY THEM, you will not regret it!!

They do a good job of blocking light but note they are black on both sides, unlike other shades that have a silver reflective layer on the outside to help with heat rejection in the interior of the vehicle.Using magnets to install is an interesting idea, however I found them to be a bit fiddly at times to install. These shades are a generic car window shape and will fit in some vehicles better than others.

The window shades are dark and large enough to fit the windows on our truck. The window shades are easy to install and easy to remove quickly. the magnets are strong and the whole package is lightweight (easily stores in a glovebox, under the seat, or in one of the car-door compartment).We got a new baby and are trying to protect our son from the sunlight, so we installed this on our Toyota Corolla and it works very well. However, when we tried this on our F250 the darn magnets didn't work, after a bit of google searching we found that the f250 is aluminum, so please make sure that your vehicle is compatible (made of steel). We still use this window shade on the aluminum truck by putting an inch of material over the window and closing the window on the window-shade to hold it in place. We like this window shade for protecting the new kid in the backseat and for the privacy it provides during feeding of the new kiddo. We recommend it.

it's hot in AZ. i have a great sunshade for my windshield, but i needed something for my side windows when i'm going to be parked out in the sun for any length of time so my car isn't insanely hot when i get back in. these side window shades seemed like a good fit. they work, they keep the sun out and the car is a little cooler. but man, i roast to death trying to get these installed on the windows. they're magnetic around the edges, and they stick pretty easily. almost too easily because they keep sticking to each other and to everything else as i'm trying to get them in place. and they have no form to them, so they flop around. it's really a struggle to get them in place.
