Fun and informative
My 5 years old absolutely loves this map! I see him with it very often and he alway tells me fun facts about countries he learned! Map teaches important things such as history and culture, it helps my son open up to new experiences. Also interactive and plays sounds which support engagement and audio learning. Product came in good condition too. Overall, this was really good and educational toy 5/5! Highly recommend for parents of young children!

Nice introduction to basic world geography
The media could not be loaded. I ordered this Magnetic world map for my son so we could start talking about different places in the world and other cultures. This is a decent sized hanging, magnetic board with the world map on one side and the back is blank for notes. This comes with a USB charging cable, dry erase marker and a manual. The manual actually writes out all of the facts and trivia that are narrated on the board so if anything happened to the electronic component you could still teach via the manual. The magnetic puzzle pieces adhere well to the board. The lines don't match up perfectly with their respective countries but they are close enough you can figure it out fairly easily. I do wish there was some sort of storage for the puzzle pieces when not in use though. The voice for the electronic portion of the map is quite pleasant and you can easily understand what she is saying. There are several modes of play including: games, scenery, world records, resources, folkway, and continents and oceans. Each mode gives different information about each region marked with a speaker icon. Overall, a nice introduction to world geography in an interactive capacity.

Nice stuff
There’s a button you can press and listen the history of every country. Every single one except Russia. What a silly mistake.

Excellent geography supplement for homeschooling or gift for inquisitive kid
WHOA. Not expecting this map to be so, well, awesome. What a great educational piece for homeschooling or to supplement an interest in geography. (I'd put the age more at 5 and up.) This map combines multiple ways to learn- puzzle, whiteboard, fact book, interactive game, fast facts. I think I enjoy this just as much as my daughter, maybe even more so. It opens up discussion about the world. There are a few things I would do differently with the facts that sound when you press each puzzle piece, however as a parent or teacher, it is easy to supplement whatever information you want to add that is specific to each country or continent. This is incredibly engaging for kids and I see my daughter's interest expanding and reshaping as the months pass. Though I think some small improvements could happen, this is a great interactive map for kids for under $30 and it is impressive for the price.

Small Pieces
The media could not be loaded. This does have small pieces. I was expecting them to be small but not as small as they are. They also don’t match up somewhere. I like that the speaking is clear and audible. There is an on/off and volume which is much appreciated. I didn’t like that if you got the answer wrong, it didn’t tell you the correct answer. It’s just move on. I also didn’t like that if you sat idle for 10-15 seconds, it asks you to play. My son kept saying, “I already am.” I think it’s a fun toy and we’ll get use out of it but even I had a hard time matching some of the pieces together.
