This glue goes on white but dries clear... I didnt realize tht when I was fixing my wood gate. Part of my gate rotted and it was flapping when I closed it. So instead of buying wood and a new hinge to fix it I just fortified the wood with wood hardener and then glued the hinge and wood back to where its supposed to be. I put ALOT of glue because I wanted to make sure tht it would stay in place... there was sooo much white glue I was panicking thinking it would look so bad if it stayed white... but it dried clear thank the goodness becauae it looked a mess with all tht white. I let it cure for 3 days to make sure it would work. Im sure it didnt need tht long but I didnt want to take any chances. Im so proud of me for fixing my gate all by myself... thx to this glue

I am an artist and always work with different types of materials. I have started to work on wood projects so using the reliable type of glue is important to make sure all the pieces I use stay intact. This brand of wood glue worked great for me. I definitely would use it whenever I am working with wood.

Used the wood glue to glue squares of wood on top of my fence posts. Worked great!!

As a semi retired woodworker/carpenter I have gone through a bit of glue over the decades.Comparing the Yeardera white wood glue to the other brands of white wood glue I have used over the years it is along the same performance the other "major brands" with easy an flow and spread, uncured glue wipes up clean and easy with just the damp rag.No glue lines on pine or oakI had put some 48 hour cured edge glued pine out in the rain for a soaking and the joint held up fine, so I do agree with the exterior claimOpen time of almost 5 minutes was nice but reposition when needed was tuff. The initial grab is rather quik.Water clean up with my brushes and spreaders was easy.I would compare this to Elmer's Glue All At a better price

It's the ideal glue for what I need. The consistency of the product is just right—not too thick that I have to spend hours cleaning up the residue after applying, and the applicator tip is the ideal size for both little and large jobs.

I got this glue to repair a wooden rocking chair. Each rocking bar on the chair is attached to two legs that attach to the bottom of the seat of the chair. I moved it while cleaning and both legs of one rocking bar popped out from the seat. This glue was extremely easy to use. The bottle is really big, but it's surprisingly easy to control where the glue goes. I had to put glue in two holes and on the two ends of the chair legs. I did that with zero mess and I didn't use the included brush to do it. I wiped away the tiny bit of excess glue that came up on the bottom of the seat when I pushed the two pieces together with a paper towel. You literally cannot even tell that I glued it. I don't know exactly how long it took to dry because I glued it on the back porch and didn't check on it until the following day. However, I do know that this glue did an awesome job fixing the rocking chair. The glued leg is beyond sturdy and I expect it to be that way for years to come. The $18 retail of this glue seems more than fair to me because you get A LOT of glue. I glued the rocking chair and then I glued a couple of miscellaneous things, one being a wooden paper towel holder. My bottle of glue is still pretty much full after three uses so I can't even begin to imagine just how many items I could glue with that one bottle. This really is a fantastic wood glue so I highly recommend it.

I needed some would glue to help strengthen a chair leg that had become wobbly. I saw this product came in a large bottle so I ordered it thinking it would be handy to have some on hand for future needs. When this wood glue arrived I had to chuckle because it is a huge bottle. Definitely enough for large projects that a wood worker would use for thier projects. It was easy to use. It seemed thicker then other wood glue and stayed where I put it without runs or large drips. It did not have an odor and it dried clear. After the full curing time the bond was extremely strong. My leg is securely attached and will not come loose again. For the amount of wood glue in the bottle and how well it works this is definitely worth the price.
