Great for colored pencils… any craft tool!
I do colored pencil paintings and this is great for holding my pencils. It also holds graphite pencils for drawing and brushes for watercolor and acrylic painting! Holds the pencils securely and they do not fall over. Takes up little space and it is lightweight so it is easily portable. Love this tool!!!!

Not as useful as I thought
I have seen this in use by crafters and talked to crafters who extol the wonders of this device. I tried it with ink blending brushes, then Copic alcohol markers, and small artist's brushes. It just seems to be awkward and always in my way, cluttering my desk rather than keeping items organized. I gave it a 4 because most crafters like it but I wish I had not bothered to buy it.

Best brush holder I've had
Brush handles are all different sizes and this easily holds all of them. Chanel foundation brush is too large for others, but this one holds it upright. This holds tiny eyelash brushes and large powder brushes all the same. It looks pretty, too!

I bought these to hold all my ergonomic crochet hooks. They work great! Highly recommended for that use.
