Great kit for Physical Therapy recovery
I got this kit for my wife who had a long stay in hospital and needed some PT equipment for recovery. The Pilates bar is well-constructed, featuring a sturdy design that feels secure during use. The material is durable, and the finish is smooth, which is important for both comfort and safety. The resistance bands are of good quality as well, providing varying levels of resistance to accommodate different fitness levels. The only small negative to me personally was that the grooves to lock the bars together are not more pronounced so a better lock can be attained. Overall, I don't think this will be a problem as the bar is quite stable. This kit is versatile. It can be used for a range of exercises, including leg presses, arm workouts, and core strengthening. The ability to adjust the resistance bands allows her to customize the workouts.Setting up the bar and resistance bands is straightforward, and I appreciate how easy it is to switch between exercises. The included instructions provide a variety of workout suggestions, which is helpful for setting up her routine. One of the standout features of this kit is its portability. The lightweight design allows me to easily store it or for the wife to take it with her when traveling. It’s compact enough to fit in a bag, making it a great option for home workouts or on-the-go fitness.Overall, the Pilates Bar Kit is an excellent investment for anyone looking to enhance their fitness routine. Its quality, versatility, and portability make it a fantastic addition to any home gym. I highly recommend it for those seeking an effective way to improve strength and flexibility!

A portable or at home exercise option
Overlooking the ridiculously sexualized marketing materials, this isn't a bad product for the price. I like to work out, and I get bored easily, so I'm always looking for different things to try. Also, I work from home, and am always looking for different ways to work out at home (and save money by not having a gym membership). Admittedly, I don't know a lot about Pilates, so I'm not sure why there are only 30 and 40 lbs bands, but I mention it because that might be a limitation for someone who is new to working out and hasn't built up much strength yet. Aside from that, I found this kit to actually be pretty versatile. It breaks down easily and fits in the included bag for easy portability. The bands, buckles, and the connections are pretty solid and have a quality feel to them. I like the door attachment, it also feels very solid. Aside from the included brochure that shows a few exercises, there are also plenty of free Youtube video workouts available.

Good light duty pilates kit for occasional home use.
I like this kit for light and occasional home use. Here's what I liked about the kit. By far the standout is the resistance bands. They're strong tubular bands which are well labeled and terminated with heat shrink and carabiners for quick changes. It comes with 2x 30 pound bands and 2x 40 pound bands that can be doubled up for 70 pounds of resistance on each side of the bar. The weak spot unfortunately is the bar itself. The bar is a 3/4 inch hollow tube in 3 threaded sections. I haven't broken it yet but it does seem to flex a bit if you load it up with all the weight. If you're only using 1 band at a time, it will probably be fine.It comes with foot straps and a door anchor. The door anchor is particularly good, it has an inch of padding on all sides so it won't mark up your doors or door jambs. At this price its a great value, as long as you're not loading it up with a ton of weight.

Adjustable and travel friendly
This is a nice pilates bar and resistance bands set. It comes with the bar, 4 resistance bands (2 rated at 30lb and 2 rated at 40lb), a door attachment, and a travel bag.The ends of the bar have 3 different loops for attaching the resistance bands to which allows you to adjust the resistance for various exercises. The bar itself is heavy and the straps are well made. The resistance bands have clips at each end that are sturdy metal and they close tightly. The two sets of resistance bands, and adjustable length, ensure this will provide a solid workout for almost everyone, expect maybe the super exceptionally fit and strong. If you travel for work and still want to get in your regular workout, this would be a great set for you! The bar breaks down into 3 pieces and everything fits in a bag that wouldn't take up much space in a carry on suitcase.

Great workout bar!
I love this workout bar. It feels like great quality materials, and really works! The only thing that was confusing was the bit that looks like a wheel. I think it might be the door anchor, but I don't know how to use it, because it didn't show it in the directions or installation instructions. It just showed it in the parts list. All in all, I love this workout bar and after testing it out, can't wait to use it again! It's also great that it comes with instructions for how to use it to work different areas of the body (low back, arms, etc.). Great product!

Great
I am disabled and have fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis and I'm home all the time and always wanted to have some exercise so I wouldn't just be sitting. I've never done this style of exercise but the book came with ways to do it and wow I feel great honestly. I am short so being adjustable was a bonus. Very easy to put together and put away. It's portable and honestly you can do it sitting or standing or laying down. I feel it actually working my muscles and the stretch felt great seems how I am always stiff and in pain. Highly recommend this wether your disabled or not either way it would works for all people and all shapes and sizes.

All you need for a good home workout!
I was pleasantly surprised when this pilates kit arrived. Here are some quality pieces that, once put together, offer a variety of home workout options, anchored by either your feet, or there’s also a door anchor for push- and pull-downs. This has it all!The set all comes in a neat little branded box. Assembling the kit is a cinch – you just screw together the parts of the hollow black foam-covered bar and link up the black or grey resistance bands. The hooks on the bands and the D-rings from the bars all seem to be very sturdy with sure connections. You can even adjust the D-ring straps for length. The best thing about this set-up is I can get a quick workout in before I go to work and it’s silent (i.e., no clunky weights), and tucks away so easily in a closet or under the couch. This set is very portable and travel friendly, and it even comes with its own carry bag. Whatever jazzes up my workout routine and makes things easier to work out at home is a big winner in my book. At its current price and with all the options it provides, I think this set is a good value and I do recommend it.

Handy and portable but a strange choice for band resistance
You can't always make it to a gym or maybe you don't have the room or the option of using large equipment. This is where items like this workout resistance bar can come in really handy. But is it really worth it?FIRST IMPRESSION: It arrived in a much smaller box than I anticipated, but once I opened it up, I realized that the bar comes in 3 parts. Truthfully, the bar felt a bit flimsy to me at first as it was really light. But once it was assembled, that concern was alleviated, and it felt really sturdy.SETUP: As I mentioned, the bar needs to be assembled, then it's simply choosing how you want to use it. You attach the bands of your choice, decide if you want to use the foot attachments or the door attachments, then it's good to go.PERFORMANCE: I was actually pretty surprised by the amount of workouts you can do with this set. There are a ton of different ways to use it. The bar itself is comfortable to use, and all the couplings feel sturdy and well made. Which is a pretty good thing as those bands fully loaded would do some damage if something let go.The only thing I would change is that there are only 2 band strengths, a 30lbs and a 40 lbs. I'm not sure why it includes those 2 resistances? If you want to modify the weight, you essentially go from 40 lbs to 70 lbs if combined. More variance in weight would allow for more fine-tuning.CONCLUSION: If you are looking for a way to workout without a ton of equipment, or prefer resistance training, then this is a great set. My only issue is the choice of bands included, as having a 30lbs and 40lbs band doesn't give you many options for modifying the resistance.WHAT I LIKED:• Well made• Easy to set up• Comes apart into a small package• Lots of ways to use itWHAT I DIDN'T LIKE:• 30lbs and 40lbs bands don't give you much to modify the resistance

Great for beginners; heavy duty/safe to use
I ordered this Pilates bar kit mainly just for the bar itself especially since that it can be split up in three pieces for portability. The bars are actually made of hollow steel or aluminum but it's very strong - it does not bend. The three pieces screw onto each other very easily. All three pieces have a foam padding sleeve over them which provide comfort when doing exercises. It comes with a manual that includes diagrams of example exercises that you can do with this device. The kit also comes with a nylon drawstring carrying bag. There are two different sets of resistance bands: one is 30 lb resistance and the other set is 40 lb resistant each, so in total you have 70 sets on each side which would be 140 lb resistance total. However we do know that with rubber bands or elastic bands the resistance curve increases to its maximum the farther out you go so you don't get the full 30 or 40 lb resistance until they're completely stretched. There's a strap attached to the end of both sides of the bar and each of these straps have three metal loops that allow for different locations to hook the rubber bands to. The closer you hook to the bar, the longer you have to stretch the bands, which gives more resistance. I am 5'9 and I find that in order to get the most resistance, for doing squats for example, I need to hook the rubber bands to the loop closest to the bar to get the most resistance. Otherwise if I hook them to the farthest loop from the bar I only get the last 1/3 curve of the resistance because the length is too long. The kit also comes with a door frame anchor. All of the pieces are extremely well made and durable and I have no doubts that it can resist a lot more than the kit offers. All of the straps are heavy duty and there are no safety concerns with this whatsoever. In my two decades of exercising in different sports I believe this kit is more appropriate for beginners to get the most out of it so if you are a beginner or if you are looking for a yoga or Pilates bar set then this is the kit for you.

Great workout, but not for beginners
If you’re looking for a simple way to work out at home without needing bulky equipment, this resistance bar set is a great option. When it first arrived, I was surprised by how small the box was, but after assembling the three-part bar, it felt sturdy and well-made.It’s easy to set up—you just clip on the resistance bands and choose between the foot or door attachments, and you’re ready to go. There are tons of exercises you can do with it, and the bar is comfortable to use.My only complaint is that it comes with just two band options, 30lbs and 40lbs, so you don’t get much room to adjust the resistance. Considering this, I'd say it may not be for female weightlifting beginners that can't lift very much. But it will be a great set to work up to.
