I really wanted to love this wild yam cream… whenever possible I prefer a natural approach vs. a prescription drug. I’ve been using this cream as directed twice a day and while it feels nice on the skin and has an interesting yammy/herby scent, it hasn’t done a thing to address the hot/cold sweats that plague me day and night. To be fair, in addition to the joys of menopause I also have an autoimmune disease that can cause night sweats/difficulties with temperature regulation so it might be that this cream works fine for menopause symptoms but not for autoimmune disease (which it doesn’t claim to address). I gave this product 3 stars because while it didn’t work for me it might work well for others who don’t have the complication of autoimmune issues.

While this is a good moisturizer, it doesn’t work for me due to the very strong fragrance. It not only goes on strong, but stays that way for some time. The cream does absorb into my skin quickly and isn’t greasy to the touch. If it weren’t for the smell, I would rate this several stars higher.
