Good Price for This Item
I purchased this Stainless Steel (magnetic) pour-over kettle for use on my inductive stove. It is used to prepare coffee using the AeroPress coffee maker. Works great for this purpose. One thing quickly learned about the lid is that the three small (breathing) holes should always be positioned on the 'snout side' of the kettle. This way the hand holding the kettle never comes near the invisible steam emitting from these holes. This kettle does not come with a thermometer but that isn't necessary as the sound of the water almost boiling is tell tale enough to know when it's time to pour.

Honking coffee drip kettle
Great for poor overs which I believe it was designed for. However after a while it rusted. It’s difficult to remove all of the moisture from inside. I’m assuming this is a challenge for all of the gooseneck kettles used for pour overs.I would say it’s definitely better quality than some of the cheaper ones that I had purchased

Like it despite sputtering water out the spout and a pinch small for full pot using a chemex 6 cup.
This is a good kettle. Heats up fast. Just short in capacity to brew a full pot using my chemex 6 cup vessel.Main beef I have is that when heating water is sputters out of the spout all over my stove when it comes up to a boil. There was a rubbery cap that kept this at bay but it was quick to develop a hole and became useless after about three weeks.I do like it though. The handle stays cool and it pours nice. I still have an eye out though in case there is something like this kettle that has a little more capacity and does not spew water all over the stove. I have resorted to putting a Pyrex cup under the spout to catch the water. It is actually a moderate amount of water that sputters out.

Beautiful Item - Boils Over
This pot is really pretty and the spout is great.Due to it's design, the water boils over pretty easily.

Using the homko kettle
Seems to take a long time to heat water in this kettle plus there are concerns about the longevity of the kettle if it is used on the stove so I heat water in my sturdy teakettle and pour it into the homko for use as a pour over. The shape of the homko is perfect to use as a pour over except that the lid falls off when it is turned over.

We love it
Great product! I was worried about the handle melting (per previous reviewer) but we haven’t had that issue. We just make sure to keep our gas flame smaller than the base of the kettle, so the flame doesn’t go over the sides.

Best for pour over coffee
My only gripe is I wish the metal was heavier gauge. I use this daily for pour over coffee. It's flow rate is perfect for it.

Lovely
Beautifully made, it does exactly what it’s made to do; and it is gorgeous.Five stars all around. When I first opened the box I was worried the handle would melt but upon the first use I quickly saw the quality of this kettle. The handle stayed completely cool while the water in the kettle was at full boil.
