Hydor LRM-LED Reef Light 100W WiFi Black

Let me preface this review by saying my unit is no longer under warranty however I have a problem just the same. My light repeatedly overheats which shuts the LEDs off. When I say repeatedly I mean this occurs every few minutes. Attempts to reach the manufacturer to resolve the issue are fruitless.Let me add to my previous post. The manufacturer, via a distributor, told me “to buy a new one” I don’t think Amazon would post what I have to say about that.

Have a 97 USGAL corner coral tank and we have tried many other lights that were either not bright enough for the depth we have or very noisy fans. With the tank sitting in the dinning room we want quiet and my wife is very sensitive to fan noise. These lights are almost silent and with two of them they light up the whole tank with no issues. Would recommend this to anyone who wants a good but quiet light. Only thing I wished is that they made a three light cluster setup. The 100 watt is only a two light cluster but two of them is plenty for most tanks and they come with a ceiling hanging cable system though I like the tank mounts myself.

I like being able to personalize my lighting settings easily.
