I’ve got a baby that always wants to be held. (My fault I know lol) but I’ve tried buying so many different toys and play mats and I haven’t had any luck. Maybe 5-10 minutes max I could lay him down while he was awake. I found this and it came in today so I put it together (the directions were a bit confusing since they are just pictures) and laid him on it and he had a blast! He loves to lay on his back and watch the toys above him as he kicks his little feet and makes music or other sounds on the large buttons. I definitely recommend this for babies. My son’s 4 months old but I sure wish I bought this months ago. The only thing about it that I don’t like is that the word “elephant” is spelled incorrectly. They spelled it “elefant” lol

I assume that they will update.As for the product, we actually have a play gym very similar to this, and the assembly was easy.At first, we thought the piano feature was broken, and tried a 2nd set of batteries and got it to work. Somehow our battery supply had some duds in it.Grandbaby (8-1/2 months) was over while assembling. She was very excited to see it take shape. She crawled into her playpen and grabbed out the little "book" that came with the first set we have, when she saw a similar "book". This set is nearly identical, except the piano actually plays different songs, and the mat theme is different. Our other mat has a dino theme. This is a forest animal theme.The 1 photo on the ad listing looks like an underwater theme, I can see the coral and crab. The arches of the set up are PINK.I will say - that baby has played with the prior mat, and when able to grasp and grab, she wanted to pull the hanging toys off the arch. The hanging objects are tempting, and we actually had the play mat all dismantled and she plays with the hanging toys separately and the piano separately.Baby # 2 is on the say - so we got this all intact and will use initially as a floor mat with dangling toys for baby # 2.

This is a such cute mat for my little one. It’s super easy to assemble and disassemble. It has many ways to play and interact, it catches my girl’s eyes so fast and she can play it longer than I thought, that’s wonderful. She likes to try holds these small toys hanging on the top, also she loves to kick her feet so she can hear the piano sound. Definitely love it, very great for babies.
