CHANDELIER CRYSTAL LIGHTING EMPRESS CRYSTAL (TM) CHANDELIERS H38" W37"

We're very happy with the chandelier. As other reviewers commented, it does take hours to assemble - over days. We found the online wiring video extremely helpful. In that it shows to bundle the wires (about 16) and put an electrical cap on them. This is not easy to do with so many wires. So, my husband daisy-chained them and that worked very well. Also - two sets of the crystal chains were the wrong length but we were able to adapt them with others in the package. We were also baffled for quite some time as how to replace a few broken crystals that were already on the fixture when it arrived - but perseverance paid off and alas it was figured out. The vendor had sent an email to us advising they were readily available for any questions or other assistance - which we did not need in the end. Just know there are very limited directions with this and it really takes a lot of patience to install and get all the crystals hung on it. Now that it is up, I absolutely love it and admire it daily which is why I still think it is worth the 5 star rating.

Really pretty chandeliers. Assembly is not easy, and very time consuming. There’s so many pieces and each piece has to be placed in a certain location. The assembly diagram is direct, but somewhat difficult to understand. Once the fixture is wired and assembled (instructions for this were not very clear, and this part of assembly is probably not for someone without some electrical installation experience) each bead and crystal has to be hung on the fixture. This process took more than an hour, and we made several mistakes that had to be redone because it was difficult to understand the placement instructions.I ordered three total and found there were some broken crystals with one chandelier. The company was good to work with and replaced the damaged crystals quickly.

everything stated in all the 1-star review is absolutely correct. What I can't believe is that no one mentioned the fact that the "crystals" are GLASS, NOT LEAD crystal.. "Empress Crystals" don't "impress". The thing was dull, lifeless and ugly. I thought the person helping me with the tedious directions needed to wash her hands but I wasn't going to complain about it because she stayed with it, way into the late night to get this nightmare completely assembled. I figured I would polish all the crystals the next morning. Guess what--they DO NOT polish. There's no shine or prismatic effect to this awful piece of junk. I ended up purchasing another one for MUCH more money (which I should have done in the first place) and friends who thought I was being picky, noticed the difference the minute they walked it. It is the same style but with REAL crystals... not glass junk. A friend offered to buy it and I agreed only to later tell him, I can't charge you for that thing... it is SO terrible looking, I would be embarrassed to take your money for it... Amazon should either drop this from their lineup OR warn customers that it's crappy... really cheap and really crappy. Compared to my new chandelier it's like drinking a flat soda compared with drinking a fizzy, freshly-poured soda. Save yourself the hassle and expense and go for one with REAL lead crystals.

Final product looks great . did not have wiring instructions.confusing which wire negative or poz.had to figure all out on my own.was going send back but once hung looks great.i had figure out which crystals...glass.....hangs where.i figured once wired hooked together I placed inside bottom dish to hide.put light in Basket upside down to do this.they need to send directions.to figure out poz neg was pain.e d product looks great.if you want all crystal you will pay lots more.i did order off amazon extra real crystal prisms to hang.for priceless great.if you want real crystal not glass be ready fork out about 1500.customer service was good.love final product but can be frustrating.

Not UL listed, arrived with broken pieces, does not look like the picture, long set up time. The identification on the various packages does not look like any kind of alpha/numeric characters I learned in school which made watching the video over and over a tedious procedure. Looking up from beneath it looks like a spiders web-my wife dislikes it very much. We plan to offer it for sale and try something else.Lastly, the wiring is a nightmare. It is simply sandwiched between to layers of plastic and NOT encased inside metal conduit as done with better quality fixtures. Also the wires run through a metal cap that has no fiber or phenolic bushings

it does not look like the picture when you set it up ! , it does look good though . no where near the picture .

This chandelier is so beautiful! I have never reviewed anything on amazon before and thought I would share my thoughts on this product because I was a little hesitant to purchase. I am so happy I did! I wanted something large and something to make a real statement in my great room! I have high ceilings and this piece really sparkles! Every time I walk past it I smile! I had an electrician assemble and hang the core skeleton and my husband and I hung each crystal ourselves. It was not hard just took a while... It took us three hours to hang all the crystals but definitely worth it. Also everything came well packaged and nothing was broken. I searched high and low for a chandelier like this and no one could come close to this price!! We paired it with a 28 inch round ceiling medallion and it just looks great!

This Chandelier is so beautiful. People who saw it just hanged without its crystal and acrylic finishings loved it -now that's it's finished it looks even more elegant. Finishing up did take some time but it was worth it. Customer service is an A+ they helped me with some pieces that weren't shipped and they shipped it asap. No instructions for the wiring but I didn't do that part-We had someone do that. The instructions for putting up the crystals and acrylic finishing was horrible -a fade copy -but customer service emailed me a clear diagram and it helped a lot. I would recommend this chandelier for anyone who doesn't want to pay $$$$ and still rock the classic elegant look.

It is not the quality of Austrian crystal or workmanship of french framework; however it is well worth it for the discounted price.
