I am loving the bright orange glow that stays lit while you are playing. Our driveway court is not very well lit and my kiddo likes to play into the night. Couple this with an asphalt driveway and our black ball, and it is almost impossible to see a pass coming at you at night! A light-up ball is a game changer for us, literally.The light goes out after a minute or so of not using it. The charge lasts a long time and it fully charges quickly - in about an hour.This ball is brighter and stays lit longer and more consistently than one we had before it. I like that it’s rechargeable. (The other one simply died and now it’s just another regular ball.) It plays just fine on our outdoor court. I love being able to see the ball at night. It’s so cool!

I got this for my basketball loving kiddos. It inflates and charges easily and quickly, and it comes with a pump and a charge cord (no base). The glow function is activated by movement and after about a minute of inactivity it turns off.I’m sure we don’t have it pumped as hard as it should be for regulation, so I can’t say how this compares to that. But for playing in the driveway with family and friends in the evening, it’s completely sufficient and works for our needs! :

I was specifically looking for a rechargeable style light up ball as we never seem to have the right sized button batteries when we need them. This fits that bill, charged fast and the light was bright enough to really be able to tell when it was on vs. off.Kids think this is great, especially for those fall evenings right after daylight saving change when they still want to play outside and it is getting darker.

First of all: this may indeed be the official size and weight of an official basketball, but it doesn't have the same feel as a real basketball. It's the basic rubber-y kind of ball that I'm sure you played with as a kid too. It is fine for that.While I do like how USB-C charging is becoming standard, I think the proprietary charger for this ball is warranted. It's a super thin barrel connector that pokes through a small hole in the rubber to charge the light module. It feels similar to the inflation needle, but it's a little charger.The light is bright enough to play in the dark, but is far from blindingly bright.One thing the listed doesn't seem to mention is that it also comes with a drawstring backpack to keep it in, which is nice...gives me a dedicated place to keep the proprietary charger.

The ball lights up nicely. It was easy to charge. I checked on it an hour after I had plugged it in and the light on the cord had switched from red to green. The pump has a perfect storage spot for the needle inside the handle! The light automatically turned off after about a minute of not being bounced. Everything worked as advertised. So far, impressed.

This works great for my basement hoop, especially when I turn off the overhead lights and have the RGB LED lights on. It comes with a hand-pump which is really easy to use, and a special charger. It charged up in about 30 minutes, and lasts a long time, at least an hour or so. It also seems to hold air for a long time too, so if it sits for a few weeks, I don't have to pump it back up at all. It's a great ball for low-light play.
