Surprisingly comfortable for little kids and adults
Comfort:My 4 yr old and 1.5 yr old boys got these for Christmas and they have been a great success. I wanted to buy regular bean bags but found these and the reviews convinced me. Well, they are that great. They are super comfortable for lying(sp?) on your back or side (the kids fit completely on it, my legs hang off or I just bend my knees and put my feet on the floor). The boys also lie on their stomachs to play.I love the fact that the "beans" are not beans but torn up foam so it is soft and smooth. They recover their shape very easily when you get up.I can see teenagers loving these bean bags too.Wear and tear:No wear or tear visible yet and I don't expect to see any for a very long time even if they/we use them constantly. The boys, specially the little one, jump on them and it is probably great exercise for his core muscles. The bean bags are not springy enough so the 4 yr old is not that tempted to use it as a trampoline.I have not had to wash the covers but vacuum them regularly and wipe them down if necessary (no food in the playroom so they don't get that kind of dirty). It does seem that it would be very easy to remove and wash them.Appearance:The colors are strange and would clash with anything except black and white but I don't care.Logistics:It comes in a smallish box. The cover is neatly folded as is the internal bag, and the foam comes in a compression bag. Follow the instructions (or the instructional video) and you won't have a mess.NOTE: it takes about 8 hours for the stuffing to puff up and you are not supposed to use it during this time so if it is a gift for a child, you may want to set it up ahead of time.

Absolutely LOVE IT!!
Absolutely TOP NOTCH! Wonderful Quality! above and beyond meets my expectations. i was greatly concerned when the box arrived... it seemed a little to small to contain such a ginormous fluffy bean bag...they take such care in packaging the foam its all vacuum packed in a plastic bag, and then zipped up tightly in a very well constructed cloth zipper bag, (we actually took some regular bean bag filling and filled it to make an ottoman. but just so you know, it was a gray camo though, did not match the bean bag. ) complete with their logo tag on the zipper pull. this product all around screams "QUALITY!" even down to the "outside packaging" of the foam stuffing.the bean bag offers an inner liner, with a child detering type of zipper. which then gets stuffed with the stuffing, and then zipped up in the outer liner. i was absolutely thrilled with this purchase, and felt i got a FAR BETTER quality product, then what i would have even expected for my $80.the foam does have a odor to it that one usually might smell on even a new foam mattress pad or such, when you open the bag of the foam filling. but it did seem to dissipate.in my opinion.... TOP NOTCH PRODUCT!!

Excellent quality, perfect for any child!
Excellent for any child! I bought this for my disabled son as a comfy break from his wheelchair. He absolutely loves it! You can take out some stuffing if you wish, but I left it in so far. My other kids love it too! He doesn't want to share with them, though. It offers excellent support and is super comfortable! The cover is beautiful and easy to clean. This is a very well made product. I did my research and I'm glad I decided on this one.

avoid. this is garbage.
I received a tall narrow box, barely a foot in width, which looked like it had a rug in it- which was a surprise given I wasn't expecting a rug. Upon opening it, this thing was in fact, rolled up, and looked like a carpet. It was rolled so tightly, I could barely unpack it, I assumed, "great- it's going to sort of explode once I have all the plastic off" like when something is put into a sealed plastic bag with the air removed-mattresses etc. Nope! The inner filling is shredded chunks of hard foam which we're completely solid and fused together into clumped, flat sections. I thought, hmm- maybe I have to fluff it? Impossible. Despite the 30 minutes of sheer frustration, banging it against the floor, trying to break the pieces apart within the bag- nada. Barely made a dent. I then decided I'd unzip it to try and break those pieces apart with my fingers- which was a nightmare. The foam immediately began to get everywhere, and is nearly impossible to manipulate, because it static clings to your hands. Legit 35 seconds in I was covered in foam, my floors have it everywhere, and it still wasn't breaking apart. I'm so so frustrated, and now not only have to get ANOTHER bean bag for my kid (who has ASD and needed something for stimulation/compression like this), but have to figure out how the hell to dispose of this massive useless flattened pancake of a purchase, which is taking up half a room in my basement. Awful.

we've taken four large garbage bags of it out to get it to the ...
It comes with about twice as much stuffing than needed; we've taken four large garbage bags of it out to get it to the point we could actually sit on it. It's cute and looks good in my son's room, but it's MUCH larger than I expected and has a hole in one of the seams after only a few months. It's probably from my son jumping on it, so it's probably not best for a kids' room.

High quality but very big
I ordered the Jr Cocoon for my 4yo to use as a chair, and for something to jump around on and play with. The chair/bean bag is very high quality and looks very nice. Also very easy to put together, without a lot of the mess that comes with the little pellets in traditional bean bag chairs. My only issue with it (which clearly may not be an issue for everyone) is that it is very big and not very "squishy". This may change as it gets older and more used, but right now it is so big and stiff that my son does not sink into it at all. I don't even really sink into at all and I am 100+ pounds. I have considered taking some of the filling out, as that may help relive the problem.
