Matrix 3D Clip-on Chromatic, Bass, Violin, and Ukulele Guitar Tuner (MA-9001)

I was first in line for the first clip on tuner sold many years ago. Then every new tuner and gadgeton the market concerning the mandolin. Matrix 3x has it together with this tuner, the abovereviews are right on. Perfect for Pros. and beginners.

This tuner works great and is very accurate. Bought to to carry around with my 2 main basses. Even picks up tuning for my low B string on my 5 & 6 string basses which I tune a step down so it's actually A. Great buy

I like this little tuner, almost looks like a cyborg on the end of my Taylor acoustic, lol. It works well, although the benchmark Snark tuners seem to be a bit more responsive and arguably accurate, although clip-on tuners are no match for tuners like the Boss TU-3 and TU-3W, my favorite. But for a quick dial-in clip-ons are fine. I would say give this one a try if you play outdoors, the display luminance seems to cut a little better than the more muted Snark display.

Simple, usefull and accurate.

Don't waste your money.I used this twice and by the end of the week the battery was dead. I ordered replacement batteries- they last about a week. This is barely even using it so it is off for all but literally a few seconds at a time. Between THREE batteries I might have used this thing for maybe 4 minutes in total to tune a three string cigar box guitar. Three strings, takes a couple seconds to tune...this thing can't seem to handle it. I've spent more on replacing the batteries than this thing even cost.Remember, you get what you pay for.

I'm afraid this device expects too much for my ukulele playing daughter. She needs a specific ukulele tuner because it's too much trouble to figure out how to configure this snappy looking device as the instructions don't bother telling her what to do. There's a frequency range, and a button you're supposed to press to get the device setup, but no indication of what a particular instrument is supposed to use. So, in this case, we have a smooth, futuristic looking device that doesn't pass basic usability requirements.My daughter was able to tune here uke much faster, and more accurately to my ear, with her older, less flashy tuner. Perhaps a more experienced musician could make better use of it, but it fails the 11 year old girl test.

My Snark can not track the low B on my 5 string bass not all and is slow for all other string. This tracks and tracks quickly and has that cool style borrowed from a Cylon warrior.

I have owned a bunch of clip on tuners. The Scarab is one of the most accurate and bright turns on the market. Perfect for a dark stage.

Me gusta mucho en verdad y es muy fácil de usar, lo único malo es que consume demasiada batería, en dos meses se acabó 3 pilas completas, cuando deberían de durar mas, fuera de eso me gustó bastante y funciona muy bien!
