This shower head has multiple layers (9 of them) to filter out any chlorine, heavy metals, and other additives in the water and filter in beneficial elements to the water through calcium sulfite, KDF-55 and more! There was a HUGE and noticeable difference in my water after I replaced my shower head with this one! I could honestly SMELL the chlorine in my water it was that noticeable to me!
