Better than a book!
Love this. The screen is perfect, backlight is adjustable, the colors are great, the page turning effect is perfect, and its weight is perfect! 10/10 recommend. Turned this page turning paperback/hardcover reader into a kindle girl!

Awesome
Light and easy to use. Mine arrived perfect and I had no issues with it. I did buy the bundle so I got the charger stand which is also nice and handy. The case wasn’t really my favorite but I kept it. I ended up buying another case. But I really like this and use it a lot.

Amazon rips their customers off!!!!
Ordered the colorsoft bundle during the prime sale, I get it and it has the yellow bar and the bottoms of the screen! I thought this fixed this issue after it initially launched? So I felt safe and confident finally purchasing one because I have been dying to have one.. so I reached out to customer service and they offered to do an exchange for me. Great! Thank you!Well, I finally get my device in the mail for my exchange. Why the hell is Amazon sending me a refurbished colorsoft Kindle when I ordered a brand new one and it ended up having issues. I expected a brand new device since I exchanged my brand new device that I had for less than 24 hours. This is extremely disappointing at this point. I just want my money back and I’m sending this back and maybe I’ll go with getting a Kobo Libra Color.

Color E-ink is awesome!
I love this kindle. I don’t have the display issues that have been reported. The color is crisp, and the text looks awesome. I haven’t tested water resistance, but I am glad that it’s there. While on the expensive side, I think it has enough value for that price. It works like all other kindles—simply and easily. My only complaint is I want reading insights built into the kindle itself. It’s nice to have in the app, but they should be built into the kindle interface. The case is super soft and nice. The charger is almost unnecessary because the battery is still super good.

Color and kindle, get a grip
Guys, you're here because is a kindle with colours, so stop questioning the usefulness of it, is dumb (like getting philosophical in food products about why we eat food), also complaining about petty things like not being able to post reviews, geez. I you had been disappointed in the past for the gray marking and miss the colours from the app but need a long-battery, non-distracted device with included rest to your eyes, and amenities like anti-glare or waterproof (and yes, you don't need to use in the middle of a lake make use of both features, just right now from my window with a coffee I can use them), and have some money to spend, this is a GREAT device.

Great option
I bought the bundle deal. It was such a good buy. I’m very happy with my color soft. Battery isn’t bad at all. It’s way faster, brightness is a little different but it’s still good. Charging dock works very good. I love the jade case that came with it.
