Flex duct
The inner metal flex pipe is sized to small and makes it hard to get on fitting without tiring up the pipe.

Doesn't fit a 6 inch duct
will not even go on the tapered end of a 6 inch duct pipe, ended up having to cobble it up with duct tape, very disappointed.

Cheap
This is exactly like dryer vent hose with being a rigid metal core. Stays in it's shape like an accordian. Not the premium flexible plastic lined duct that has a fluid movement to it. The fiberglass it's wrapped with is thin, hard scratchy yellow fiberglass, not the fluffy pink or white kind that doesn't scratch and itch. I wouldn't use it for HVAC, but good for a couple bath fans.

Not easy to slip on standard 6" ducts
Very difficult to install. It's a lot smaller than a standard 6 inch duct. That and I had to do a lot of digging to figure out this has an R value of 4. I would recommend going to a big box store and spending the extra couple of bucks on a better quality duct that actually fits without having to use an entire roll of tape to secure it properly.
