My sister and I recently adopted two dogs from the shelter. Right after we got them we had to take a couple emergency trips from CA to AZ, 500 miles one way. We had to make sure we packed doggie necessities to last for a week. We ended up throwing everything into a grocery bag. It was very disorganized and each time we needed something out of the bag we'd have to dig everything out to find it. When I saw this Pet Storage Organizer available as a free promotional item I ordered it. For me, I think it has more pockets than it needs. I think the bottom part should be large enough for a good size water bottle, at least a weeks worth of kibble and food bowls. Since collapsible bowls are very popular we'll work with that and see if I can fit a gallon jug and about 12lbs of food into the bottom. Since we have had recently had a large cluster of earthquakes near where I live in Central California, I may use this for my pet emergency kit, where the pockets will be more handy for small items like a first aid kit, poo bags, pee pads, trash bags, paper towels etc. My current kit is for both dogs and cats but I may separate them since there are now a larger dog that needs more food. Then if we do travel we can still take it with us and leave behind the cat pack. I don't see me hanging it over a door or off a hook unless I remove the food and water and just leave the smaller items. I could also hang the bag sans food and water in the closet where I keep the emergency supplies. Either way it's very handy and I think I'll get a lot of use out of it. I will update my review with photos once I get it set up.

I love this organizer! It has space for everything I need when I take my service dog somewhere for a long day or when I travel longer distances.When it is just for the day, I can hang it off the passenger window handle and open it up facing the open door. If I tuck it in a bit, I can close the door and it is ready for me to access more equipment just by opening the door.It is sturdy, which I love. It will get a lot of use.I keep a variety of training treats, emergency kibble, extra leash, my own meds, water dish, feeding dish, small towel for wet feet, clickers.I love how I can roll it up when I am done and store it behind the front seat without anything falling out.At a hotel, I just hang it up in the closet area and leave it that way until I am ready to leave.As a service dog handler, I have a lot of equipment that I need to have available either just in case, or for my longer outings to keep my service dog comfortable and easily able to continue working.

I got this to serve as a doggie duffle bag for our upcoming road trip. As we were going to load up the bag, we liked how spacious and versatile the bag was. Had plenty of storage options and compartments, including room for a towel if your pup has a favorite one and even a picture of medical documents in the front photo area. We were all set to bring this, until we went to go actually unhang the bag and get ready to store it away in the car. Then we noticed there was no way to actually close the bag?? No zipper or Velcro to secure it, so it would have been just open for all of her stuff to fall out. That was a major bummer. Everything else besides that was great. Very durable, versatile, useful with plenty of storage.

This is perfect for when we are traveling with our older "special needs" dog.Nugget has all sorts of health problems, so we need to bring medication for whatever current issue she has - we can put that in one of the mesh pockets. And we also travel with all sorts of "just in case" medicine that she's taken in the past and invariably needs when we are far from home. There are so many pockets to keep these things organized.We typically stay at Motel 6's when we travel. Before this bag, the entire area under the TV was designated for dog stuff. Now we can hang this in the closet area or put it on the back of the door.One note on the back of the door thing. At first I didn't think it would allow the door to close (see the photo.) But if you close the door, the little springs will compress and you should be able to close the door. And when you open the door, they spring back out to securely hold the bag on the door.I also like that the bottom is a big area where you can store more bulky items. And the rolled up top goes into this space. For us, this space is mostly empty when we leave the hotel. But when we are in for the night, this is a great spot to store her harness and light up collar (she always wants to go potty in the middle of the night at a hotel.There are also a bunch of metal rings we use to clip on her leash so it's easy to find.There are a couple of pockets that velcro on, so they are easy to remove. One is a treat pouch, but I have a different one that I really like.It feels well made, it's versatile and I think it's going to last a long time.Oh - but it needed to be aired out for 24 hours when we first got it. It was that stinky plastic smell. So don't buy it immediately before your trip.Have fun!

We use this pet travel bag when we travel in our RV with our 3 dogs, and cat. I love how it packs up nice to carry to the RV and then I can run roll it and hang it over the back of the closet door to have a place to store all of the dogs things. We travel for up to 3 months at a time and the dogs have extra harnesses, tooth brushes, nail trimmers and cordless clippers. I also store extra bags of treats, shampoo, and their spare pet meds here too. It’s nice to have a place to organize all of their things. There are many pockets of many sizes which is great. It is a nice sturdy organizer and it comes with the over the door hooks.
