I ordered this rug for our lake home. Our other home is decorated in bright bold colors with a lot of Moroccan decor that I love. I wanted this same look and feel at our lake home, but without the expense incurred to decorate our other home. We have 4 children, animals and a large brood of extended family and friends that visit our lake home frequently, so with the water and mud of the lake environment and the heavy traffic the home endures, anything I purchase needs to be very durable as well.I loved the look of this rug and with it being made of recycled plastic it sounded perfect, add in the glowing reviews and the very low price tag and it was a no brainer.I will give a word of advise and caution here, please open this rug and lay it down before you judge it. It does not look that great when still rolled up and examined closely. I am not one to return things, just not worth the hassle involved, but I can see how some might send this back immediately upon opening the box without giving it a fair chance. When its still rolled up and viewed through the clear plastic wrapper, it looks, well..... cheap. I know it is cheap and I knew it was made of recycled plastic, but after the great reviews, I didn't expect it to look sooo cheap, like one of those plastic tube place mats from the dollar store that's suppose to look like jute.That said, once you unroll this and place it on the floor, it looks like a different rug! The pattern comes together and the colors show beautifully! It looses the plasticy look and looks like a bamboo or jute type rug but without the " Ouch!" factor of those rugs when walked on barefoot. Its durable and tough and being made of plastic means no mold or mildew from getting wet. Spills can be wiped up effortlessly and for food or other grime that me be tougher to get to, you can take this sucker outside and hit it with the water hose or pressure washer!These rugs are a must have for households with kiddos and animals. I can see this standing up to my crazy brood for a very long time to come. I am on here now to order more of these for both of our homes.I highly recommend this or any other Mad mats rug. In fact, I have already recommended it to several friends and family that have seen ours and loved it. Price wise, I think these rugs are under priced and would pay a much higher price point for this rug.Beauty, functionality, durability, budget friendly and made from recycled materials so you can feel good about your purchase. It doesn't get better then that!!!

I LOVE these mats! They are beautiful & vibrant and so far have held up several months in the unforgiving Texas weather- rain, wind,heat. Not one bit of fading or shedding/shredding so far.They are reversible, with one side being different in color variation (both mats in photos I posted are of the Aqua color showing each side)Even though they are thin plastic they have a soft comfortable feel under foot. Because they are so light weight they do tend to blow around in windy conditions but I keep mine under the table set & lounge chair. I have not used the tape/Velcro tabs that come with it so can't speak on whether or not that would hold them down. They are easy to clean, just spray off & they dry super quick.I love them for the easy care & colorful pattern.

Would def recommend, I bought the Aqua color.

This outdoor rug has really vibrant colors and looks beautiful. My favorite feature is that it is sturdy enough to stay put on our windy deck!

This is the third mat I have purchased. The very first one I purchased back in 2013 is as perfect as the most recent one from a month ago

I've had my eye on this rug for a while, but I feel they are kind of pricey and I wondered if I could find other patterns from other sources and other companies--I truly love this design, but it's the only one I love on Amazon, so I still had the urge to see more of a selection of appealing designs in order to know just *how* much I loved this particular one--did I love it because it was perfect and amazing, or did it just seem especially awesome because all the others suck?I still can't totally answer the question, but after researching hard to find other great mats from other places and coming up empty, I decided to bite the bullet. The 4x6 is the only size that makes economic sense to me--try to go to the 5x7, and suddenly you're near a hundred dollars. But for fifty bucks and free delivery, I justified it and I'm glad.Based on the comments, I actually thought the design was going to be more intricate and seamless and detailed--it's not; the weave is not super tight so detail and color saturation are limited. But it is very pleasing, does the job I need a plastic kitchen rug to do, fits my style, and remains interesting and attractive if not totally omg-magical. When my roommate saw it for the first time, she exclaimed, "I LOVE IT, WOW." And since I put it in, I enjoy its presence every time I enter the kitchen. So I say go for it--just don't expect a mat that people mistake for a kilim or a work of art. It's very cute and very practical and I'm going to enjoy it; already I feel like the kitchen makes more sense. But I would not consider the price of the larger sizes appropriate, and that pricing will prevent my purchasing larger sizes in the future, although I would like to.

I absolutely love this mat. It is on our back deck and looks great. Feels good on the feet. Even our greyhound lays on it. Mad mats make some of the most beautiful outdoor mats that I have ever seen. And the fact that the mats are also made of recycled materials is just an added bonus!!Highly recommend! And you can turn them over for another colour option!

Two summers outside on balcony, no mold, no smell after being rained on many times. The red has faded a bit being in the sun, so now it's a little more pink (and it's actually a better colour!). Other colours are still very vibrant. Even my neighbor loves it. Update: After 4 years, in every sort of weather, it's looking a little worn out. I will buy this rug again in the spring. I really love it.

We've had our on a busy balcony going on 4 years. It is still great. I am sure the colour has faded some,but we have been able to leave it out year after year.

This mat is exactly what I was looking for. A plastic rug that can get wet and I can leave outside all season. Measurement was accurate. Only 4 stars because although I realize colours vary on computers, this is extremely different. I looked at photos other buyers posted so I knew what I was in for, but if they are able to post an accurate colour, I'm not sure why the seller can't.

We had to reorder it 3 times and it took forever to finally get to us but in the end it was a nice product and looks good. Can’t speak to it’s long term durability yet....
