I really like this drying rack
I really like this drying rack! I bought this one to replace an older wooden model that had warped and bent over time. I first thought I really could get along without a rack, but that turned out not to be the case. I had had the older one for several years and had become accustomed to air drying delicate items. I wanted a new one that could last at least that long and the search was on. I think this one will do that. It is sturdy enough to hold all the clothes I put on it including everything from lightweight lingerie to heavy jeans. I like the smooth white coating; it does not catch on any of the clothing. It is wide enough to hold a shirt on each rack plus some smaller item. The rack folds compactly and fits nicely between washer and dryer to be conveniently at hand but completely out of the way when it is not in use. The top rack clicks securely into place and it takes more than just a light touch to disengage it, which I like; if someone brushes by the stand when it is in use, it will not accidentally collapse. I looked at several choices before deciding on this one. One of my reasons for doing this review is to perhaps save someone else the work of trying to decide on a rack from numerous product descriptions. I personally am very satisfied with this particular rack and it is a bonus that it is not very expensive. I would recommend it for anyone wanting a rack that is lightweight enough to tote from room to room, sturdy enough to hold a lot of wet clothes, and inexpensive enough to fit almost any budget.

Not worth a penny!!!
I purchased this to use at a flea market to show my products. These were crochet items. Not heavy at all. I put 3 medium pillows on the top. Hung 3 baby dresses on 1 rod,a throw blanket on the opposite side, 2 little girl scarfs in the middle. I turned to grab something else to hang on it. THEN all of a sudden it started to lean the woops on one side BROKE. my stuff was all over the dirty floor. Was not able to use it at all. I would not recommend purchasing this. Yea only$40.00 not worth it at all. N since I purchased it ahead of time so that i had it when I went to sell, my return time ran out. So I'm out the money n the rack. Would not tell anyone to get it.

Compared to the traditional Wooden Drying Rack
I grew up with using folding clothes drying racks made from wooden dowels. They were nothing fancy, but they did their job. When I moved out, I had two of those clothes racks and I thought they were perfect. Until I got a boyfriend. After living together, we had a few "incidents" involving my beloved clothes racks -- first, they could not be easily moved when holding clothes (the top would easily come up, and the whole rack would collapse), second, they apparently are invisible when placed on a driveway and snap after getting bumped lightly by a car, and third, they are not sturdy enough to be placed beneath heavy boxes of books when moving (ha, go figure). So after gluing and re-gluing my wooden dryer racks together, I finally had to retire my two wooden racks and search for replacements.I found this clothes drying rack and purchased one to see if it stood up to my not-so-perfect wooden racks. I ended up buying a second one, so both of my clothes racks could be replaced. My search was over after this one purchase. This is why:1. The top of the rack "snaps" into place with a plastic/rubber stopper. So it's very sturdy. We're able to load the rack up with clothing and then MOVE it freely about without the entire thing collapsing! It's not difficult to "unlock" either. You just have to pull up (with a little force, but not much). I've expended more energy lifting an infant than unlocking this rack!2. The coating on the bars is super smooth. I've never had an instance where my stockings have gotten snagged (unlike with my old wooden racks).3. We haven't traveled with them, but they do seem like they could take a slight beating. I still wouldn't put a box of books on top of it or run it over in a car, but I think that it could easily stand a minor "incident" like riding a bike into it. (But I'm not suggesting anyone tries that, either!)4. My now-fiance does not cringe every time we need to hang clothes up on them because he knows that they are sturdy. There's no excuse not to help with laundry and you can't beat that!5. The price was very competitive when compared with a lot of other racks. This rack had free Prime shipping on top of it. It was a winner. The only downside that I can see between these metal racks and my old wooden ones is that these are a little heavier. I'd say that the weight of one metal rack is almost the same as one and a half wooden ones. And they take up a little more space (about and inch) when folded up. So if you're tight on space and are slipping it beside the washing machine, make sure you have an extra inch or two!

I kind of love this thing....
We started air drying a lot of our clothing several years ago but were just hanging the articles of clothing over the railing in the loft, which always made for hasty semi dry laundry removal whenever someone stopped by or came over. One of my sons decided to get me one of those wooden drying racks for Mother's Day last year, which though it was purchased with the best of intentions, ended up basically being a glorified Jenga set. If you hung something too heavy on it or bumped one of the dowels, the whole freaking thing would come tumbling down - wet laundry and all. I never knew that I could put so many curse words together to form an entire sentence until we started using that thing. Finally, enough was enough and because I loved the concept of a clothes drying rack but hated my stupid unstable tower of overgrown Lincoln Logs, I started looking at various racks on here. After viewing several different items and checking out their reviews, we ended up with this little gem. It came in an enormous box and was pretty much already completely assembled. Basically, a toddler could have done what little assembley is required, which involves just unfolding the rack itself and then placing the top of the rack into each side piece. I think it took literally 30 seconds from start to finish. It's super sturdy, holds several large articles of clothing at once and is about as aesthetically pleasing as a drying rack can be. I'm so glad that I bought this one!

Me gusta que puedo armarla solo cuando lo necesito y tenerla en el cuarto de lavado cuando no sea necesaria.

unfold easily and with a click stays in place
unfold easily and with a click stays in place. It's outside on our deck, on a sunny day, drying out the clothes, which now need to be done in this way since our dryer broke last week. This reminds me of my childhood days with the laundry on the line, or on a variety of racks, over time. A nostalgic moment washing across the memory-heart. Looks good, easy to use and store. Nice product.

Good for not-much clothes hanging
Light and stable. Best point is space-saving. Daily clothes washing is fine enough but don't expect to hang your beddings.
