Great little chair
I really do like this chair. It is a lot of fun to sit on & already I can feel muscles working that haven't had to work in a while. I was a bit concerned when I put it together that it didn't seem that secure but as I sat on it & moved it around, it seemed to lock in tighter. I do have a couple issues which lead to me giving this only 4 stars.First, the seat is really hard. Maybe for a kid it isn't that big of an issue, but I'm an adult & not used to sitting on hard plastic all day. I tried using a balance seat (those round inflatable exercise cushions) like I read about in another review but that did not work at all, it made the seat too high for my desk & felt really unstable. I finally ordered a custom seat cushion from another website & life is good there. My second & more concerning issue is how this chair slips. I have it at my desk at work & it sits on a chair mat. If I'm not careful, it will slip out from under me. I'm not sure if it is my lack of gracefulness or a combination of the plastic chair on a plastic mat or just the chair itself. I'm going to try it out on a couple different surfaces to see what works best. Like it said, it could just be me but I did want to mention it. Be careful until you get used to it.All in all, I'm glad I purchased this chair. I'm transitioning from a traditional office to chair to a combination of this chair & standing part time. I think it will work well for my purposes.

Kids love these
My son's 3rd grade teacher switched over to these stools for most of the class. It's definitely been an adjustment, but the kids love them, for one, and my son says they get more work done faster despite rocking and a thousand kinds of "user error" (taking them apart, flipping them over to sit on the floor and use the bottom as a writing surface, putting them on their side and sitting on the support, etc). I ordered one for our house and now the 9 & 4yo fight over who gets to use it.For as poor as everyone's posture tends to be at this point in human history, I'll happily keep my kids using these for as long as possible. Assuming they're being used correctly, there's no way to sit on them BUT with correct posture.

Great for children who have a hard time sitting still.
I am a teacher. Wobble chairs are great for children who are very active.

Easy to Assemble
Easy to assemble. Done in like 20 seconds and that’s because husband and I both sat on it to make sure the ends were securely on the top and bottom circles. There were 4 small pieces of foam on the ‘stem’ part of this chair and like other reviews mentioned, we were worried the whole seat would fall apart and my son might get hurt. Then again my 6 year old trips over nothing anyhow so it’s par for the course and if he fell off this chair or broke it that’s because he was playing rough with it. Otherwise.. it’s awesome for his Zoom class and at least he gets some of his wiggles out! And he also found a new use for it. Spinning on our hardwood floor. Go figure. Anyhow, if you’re expecting a kid friendly stool/toy thingy, that’s exactly what this is and it does it well! We’re happy because kiddo is happy. ^_^

Nice chairs! But maybe not for super-hyperactive kids.
Nice heavy pieces, well put together. Only con is that my wiggly kids will totally flip themselves into the floor with these chairs that just have a hard plastic, rounded base. There is no guard to stop the chair from falling completely over. I wish there were wiggle-components in the seat only and not at the base. I ended up not using them. But that is just my experience of what I was looking for! You can see in the picture what you are getting—the product is very true to the pic! The color is a nice bright blue and extremely easy to assemble. I just didn’t think about my kids’ hyperactivity and if this chair would work for that. I’d say the same about a yoga-ball chair—great solutions for many, just not my ultra-wiggly kids. :)

Fun chair.
Bought the toddler purple. Came on time in good condition. My 7 year old put it together right away. Just 3 pieces, base stem and seat just squeeze them together. I have one same size I purchased about 4 years ago from a different site. So I did notice that the new purple one went together a lot easier than my previous one. After about 5 mins of my son messing around with the chair the seat came off. Seems like that's a common problem with the newer chairs. Looking at the foam that is supposed to hold the chair together, I noticed it was very weak and most of it had rubbed off. I rubbed off the rest of the weak black foam and attached some 3m double stick mounting tape. Worked perfectly. That's really my only concern with the chair. My old one has never come apart, you would actually need to two people to pull it apart. I got this for my two year old twins. They have no problem sitting on them, no falls yet. Seem to work fine on carpet and tile, but probably depends on what your child is doing while on the chair. Only time my older son has fallen, is when he's spinning around or jumping off them.

Wiggly all day, all the time
Such a relief for my 11 year old who wiggles around non-stop. He is vestibular input-seeking so needs to constantly teeter around on his seat to stay awake during online class. Otherwise he falls asleep from inadequate vestibular input. This stool really helps! Also, recommend it for sturdiness. I wouldn't buy the hydraulic kind of stool - this amount of wiggling would break that kind of construction right away.

Slippery base with no grip would make it slippy on smooth surfaces. Would have to be on a carpet. Has a rim to prevent from tipping.

such a improvement in our son’s concentration levels
We sought out the chair after our academic consultant suggested the wobble chair would help our son focus more at school. We believe the wobble chair has made a real difference in our son’s concentration levels as it has helped him to disperse his excess energy. Importantly, our son loves it. We will be suggesting that our school invest in more of the wobble chairs. Thank you so much for such a wonderful product.
