Great bag great value
Great product. Strong and durable. Size and curvature make for a great fit when instructing my 13 year old son punching and shielding blocks away from him. It’s a highly recommended bag.

It works great
Used this with my son's basketball training to help learn to absorb contact and it has shown immediate benefits. He no longer avoids contact but goes to the basket strong, takes the contact and finishes strong or gets fouled. He gets to the foul line at a higher rate than before and has increased his scoring and assists, since his drives draws the defense and opens up more passing lanes to his teammates.

Strong and durable.
Coaching youth flag football I needed a blocking pad to give the boys experience blocking without beating each other up. In the past I have used a blocking pad used by a local police department, but it tends to be too strong (more for absorbing strong kicks). This pad has been great. It is strong enough to not fully collapse under a strong hit, but also it doesn't hurt when you hit it.I am coaching 11 - 12 year olds and the size is perfect for them.

It is accomplishing what we need done for basketball practice. We use it for lane shooting drills to similate what happens in the paint in basketball. Only complaint (like I've read previously) are the handles. I would think that there would be a better handle available for these pads to make it a little more user friendly. Otherwise, this product is accomplishing the goal.

Hobbit bed or Practice Pad?
What is there to say really? It's a mini, curved mattress with a tough vinyl cover. While i don't use it for bedding Hobbits, I'm sure you could if you wanted to.I personally like using it to live vicariously through my son. If you plan on raising the next JJ Watt, you're gonna need one of these. You can pretend to be a real NFL coach and your kid can take out all his aggression at the same time! That's a win-win situation right there!

Great for dad and son!
I use it work with my 10 year old. Teach him basics and keeping him safe! Awesome for tackling and contact on running and catching. Also good to teach blocking!

Great shield good enough for drills.
Very good shield for any sport blocking drills,bball drills very useful. Straps not the best place to be cant control the hit and impact of a hit if doing football blocking drills.
