This wood piece did not have the sufficient amount of pre-drilled holes which were stated in the instructions. There were only two holes to fit the screws into which were on the side, but there should of been four holes in total with another two on the flat side which are used to tighten the screws, therefore this piece of wood can only be hung with heavy duty brackets which are able to withstand the weight of this as it’s a heavy size and quite thick. Brackets are the only way to make it fit for functionality which I’ve been unable to find yet. I also think it was a return, as the box had clearly been opened and sellotaped back down and this was obviously the reason why. I could attempt to drill it myself but the wood would be difficult to drill through as it’s so solid, so it would be worth asking the seller before purchasing to make sure it’s fit to hang with all holes already pre-drilled.
