Excellent flavor but chips are too small
I would have never thought of trying salt and vinegar chips until my wife brought home some Ritz Crisp and Thins Salt and Vinegar Chips. She didn't care for them at all, but I found them to be an exciting new taste. I subsequently began to try a number of different varieties of salt and vinegar to discover where my loyalty would lie.The Ritz product is not really a potato chip, but it is enjoyable to eat. Kettle Brand Sea Salt and Vinegar acquits itself very nicely as an excellent potato chip. It's stronger in flavor than these Better Made S&V chips, for those who are looking for that. Kettle Brand Apple Cider Vinegar is my favorite S&V chip overall, but it is not available in this type of packaging. My wife and I would be considered to be a Cape Cod family in an overall sense. That's generally what we buy to compromise on something that we would both enjoy eating together, with Cape Cod Waves Sea Salt (40% less fat) being our current favorite. I also consider Cape Cod Waves White Cheddar & Sour Cream to be an excellent chip, but my wife does not care for them. So, I'd say that Cape Cod had the inside track in my salt and vinegar taste test, but it does not win out. What I don't like is that I have to brush off all the vinegar powder and salt off my hand after touching each individual chip, and that gets old after a while.Great Lakes Bold Sea Salt & Vinegar is my least favorite to date. The smell will knock your head off just opening the package. They have an industrial chemical taste that just doesn't come together with the salt and potatoes to make a food that I want to eat. They need to rethink that product. Lays makes several forgettable salt and vinegar products, while Pringles has a synthetic taste that is barely eatable in a pass/fail sense.I need to have a salt and vinegar product in packaging that's in the range of 1 oz. up to 2 oz. at the most. What I found is that the Better Made chips offer 1 oz. packaging--and I also like the taste of them very much! I originally purchased them in the family size packaging, where they work really well for my eating style. I like to suck the vinegar out and then be left with the potatoey flavor. The problem is that in the small size packaging, the chips tend to be much smaller, and a pretty high percentage of them are broken, with crumbs at the bottom. You really can't eat these in a car or you'll get crumbs all over.We live in Detroit, so it was not a far distance to ship these chips. After ordering, they arrived here very promptly with Amazon Prime. There was no damage to the box. The individual bags seem to have some air in them to cushion the packages during transport. I can't explain why so many of them seem broken.Even though we live in Detroit, we were not previously a Better Made family. I would occasionally have their original variety around town in local sandwich shops. I always assumed it was simply a matter of supporting a local business. My wife always assumed that Better Made was simply a half-notch better than the local supermarket brands. We both concluded that this probably was not a correct assumption on her part, and Better Made is really a better company than that. We've tried both their krinkle-cut and wavy varieties, and we both enjoyed them. So, the conclusion is that Better Made makes an excellent Salt and Vinegar chip as far as taste goes, but I think you are much better off with family size packaging. By the time that I work my way through 50 bags of smaller size chips and crumbs, I rather suspect that I may be trying a competitor's offering in similar packaging for when I have to take a lunch somewhere. Therefore, it is unlikely that this purchase will result in repeat business despite the excellent flavor of the chip.

Childhood Chips
I have been eating these potato chips for many many years and never gotten tired of them. The crisp and flavor is everlasting taste to enjoy with Red Faygo Pop to drink with it. Since joining and retiring from military service, I can now order these chips and continue loving my favorite chips since childhood. I highly encourage everyone to give them a try or if in Detroit metro area, pick up a bag at any store.

Hometown Taste!
Love this product and the service! Born and raised in the D. This is a taste of home and ordered a few for other native Detroiters! Now I just need some Sanders ice cream, Bill Knapps, Faygo, Greg’s Pizza and Parks bbq!

A little bit of MI came to CA
These are the chips I grew up with as a youngster in MI and was the one that tastes the best among others. The one I got reminded me of home. My friends in CA stated they enjoyed the taste of them as they are as not as salty as other brands. They stole several to take home z great for snacks or with sandwiches at lunchtime (perfect with Jersey Mike’s Italian Sub). Side note: It came well packaged and the chips were fresh. Will be ordering more next week.

They are not very hot, but there is a vinegary sweetness to the spice that is really pleasing.
I also just really like that they come in the small serving sizes, as portion control is NOT my strong suit. Sometimes I even grab two because they are small enough that I can afford to splurge a little. It's always easier to add small amounts than subtract a reasonable portion from a larger amount. At least that's how it always feels for me. Like... if I open a BIG bag... it's difficult to not feel tempted to eat a big bag right now.

Just like off the factory line!
These arrived way ahead of the promised date, fresh right out of the Michigan factory, delicious and not all broken up. This is an example of excellent handling of a fragile food product. Thank you!
