Most of the 1 star rating don’t know what they are ordering
Hey so,I would like to approach a few of the 1 star reviews...If you research butterfly pea flower you will learn that it is mostly if not only curated in Thailand. And the reason that it is listed as organic is because currently you can not cultivate butterfly pea flowers just any where and they do not withstand a lot of pesticides, or really any growing practices other than their natural environment; so they are typically foraged or harvested vs. cultivated. It is important to know the difference. With foraged/harvested foods you have to give room and forgiveness for impurities,Yes you might find a bug, or a hair, but you will also find vibrant colors, that will even change colors naturally in relation to the ph level of the liquid. All without artificial colors, flavors or additives. With cultivated foods, their sole job is to give you a consistent, clean product so if they don’t, complain away!!But foragers give you what you they find. So you have to cut them a bit of slack. Also,Yes, the tea doesn’t taste that great by it’s selfIt has a slightly sour, floral taste. Kind of think of chewing a lemon rind while a smelling a bowl of potpourri, it’s not great. But a bit of honey and a bit of lemon you have a delightful tea that tastes nice and changes color which adds a lot to the experience of the tea. Or being a bartender, mix gin, simple syrup, pea flower tea together with ice and soda, then float lemon juice over the top and serve with something to stir it with and just sit back watch the magic in people’s eyes happen.

Artist’s tea!
So much fun and color and options! This tea is like a canvas. This morning I made it for work and they need a little more flavor than the tea itself has. It’s a great mellow, natural flavor on it’s own if you like that. I added a lemon & ginger tea which flavored great and then to impress my coworkers added honey w/lemon juice to watch it turn colors. It was served hot and they are looking forward to more. When I came home I made another pot but didn’t add as many buds, the color was not nearly as the dark royal blue this morning but was still a beautiful sky blue as you see in the picks. The pics show the order that it changed as I added a few hibiscus and then poorer it over ice and then added honey and lemon and topped it off with a few garnishes (mint, rosemary & a nasturtium flower. I enjoy making everything an art and this tea just gave me a new canvas to play with. 😁

Intense blue color and pleasant but light taste
This is a high-quality product, not some old washed-out stuff. For my first batch, I filled up the steeping basket as I do for hibiscus tea. (Incidentally, that's a great tea to combine with this!) The color was so intense that I had to dilute it! This is important to me, since it's going to be much more economical to use less of the product for a very pretty result. Granted, the tea is not very strong-tasting, but it is pleasantly reminiscent of green beans. The tea is supposed to be beneficial for eye and brain health, so taste isn't what people usually buy this for. It makes a very pretty purple iced tea when mixed with hibiscus or with added lemon. It would be worthwhile just as a novelty, but as blue flowers contain lutein, this is going to be a staple in our household now. Expect it to take a few weeks to ship, so order earlier than you need it.

Tastes like mild spinach water
This was my first time trying pea flower tea, and I enjoyed it for the most part.Quality: I recived a large bag of dried whole flowers, colors of the dried flowers were vibrant, unfaded, and they didn't crumble to bits when handled, so the tea appeared fresh and of good quality. This massive bag of tea will last a good while for sure.Taste: I tried the tea on its own at first and it tasted like mild spinach water, so I proceeded to mix it with honey and lemon and then iced it down.Color: It was a beautiful deep blue after brewing, then changed to a nice shade of pink/purple when I added the lemon juice. I use raw honey as a sweetener, so that made it a bit murky unfortunately.I would go with plain sugar, stivia or a simple syrup for sweetening if looks are what your after. All in all: I mean, It's very pretty and the taste isn't horrible, I like veggies and spinach, but maybe not in tea form. I would definitely recommend experimenting with the flavor by mixing with other teas.

Great for color changing lemonade!
The media could not be loaded. While it did take the full shipping time, I really can't complain because it was free shipping for such an inexpensive item. I'm blown away by the value. The package is about a 6 inch square, stuffed with the butterfly pea flowers. Smells fresh upon opening, like sweet hay.The tea I made turned blue instantly, and was a rich dark cerulean blue within 3 minutes.I bought this to make magical color changing lemonade for a party, and I'm absolutely sure it's going to be a hit. Color changes from blue to purple to pink when you add lemon juice.Flavorwise, the lemon takes over and I can't taste the tea flavor at all. Mixed with gin and lemonade, and it's a tasty, colorful treat.5 stars, and I'll recommend this seller to everybody at my party.Sorry for the upside down video, I've tried everything and I can't get it to flip right side up. You can still see the magic. :P

Much, much better than expected. Incredible colors!
Spectacular! Like most people, I saw some videos of the tea on youtube and I knew I had to try it! After reading some of the other (quite frankly, over critical) reviews of this product I expected it to take forever to arrive but it came within a week or two, much quicker than i expected. True the packaging isn't the best (basically a clear, vacuum sealed plastic bag) but that just adds to the charm. A letter inside said that it was a family owned business, just the 3 of them picking the flowers and sending them out. Who doesn't want to support small, family run businesses? The product itself is perfect and much better than I expected. You really only need a tiny amount of this product - a small amount, less than half a tea spoon, will create over a liter of vivid blue tea. This small package will last you a long, long time! The colour really is outstanding, electric blue with a deep, almost neon glow to it. It looks other worldly! The taste is incredibly mild - a slight earthy taste. Very, very slight - it's almost flavorless. It also has a slightly sweet aftertaste. Again, you have to look for the flavour and if it wasn't for the bright colour, you could easily mistake it for regular water.I like to have a glass of cold water, put a metal tea strainer on the top and then pour a little boiling water over the flowers. Cold water stays at the bottom and because hot water rises, the brilliant colour seeps out into the water below. It looks amazing. Don't forget, the colour only comes out in very hot water. If you are on the fence about buying this product, don't be. Get off the fence and just buy it. It's only 6 bucks, its family owned and it's every bit as good as the videos you've watched on youtube. You will have a ton of fun messing about with this tea. I imagine kids would LOVE making this tea. It's a great way to get them to drink more water! It has more antioxidants than green tea! Plus a bunch of cancer fighting phenols - so its definitely better getting the kids to drink this rather than the fizzy junk soft drinks like coke.Just buy this stuff, you'll love it.P.s don't forget to add a splash of lemon juice to turn it into a vivid purple color!

Beautiful blue colour!
The only negative is the packaging. No description, no information at all. I was a little leery about it but it was really good and worked really well. Use it with lemonade for maximum impact! A natural way to add colour to all kinds of foods and drinks.

Good quality.
I used the pea flowers to make a tea. It was so much fun to steep these flowers and get this beautiful blue tea which can change colour if you add some lemon/lime juice. It's very pretty and a lot of fun!
