My dogs absolutely love these treats and they are healthy for them. I have small dogs and some of the treats are rather large so I cut them in half for them. As long as you keep container closed/sealed good when you close it they stay fresh for a long time - better yet take out a bunch and fill a smaller container that you are using every day to help keep freshness in the big container. They have a good smell to them and based on how my dogs react I would imagine the flavor is excellent. My daughter buys for her dogs also, and they love them as well. Good choice for a healthy snack!

I only use these when training my dogs to make it most effective. They LOVE these. I must say I’ve been giving them more frequently lately as my GSD has been diagnosed with osteosarcoma (very aggressive, horrifically painful, bone cancer). His left front leg has been amputated and he gets his 3rd chemo treatment the day before Thanksgiving. Since his life span is now much shorter than before diagnosis I’m spoiling him even more than normal. His quality of life is my priority. Since he gets more liver treats now, of course my black lab mix needs more treats as well. My boy gets them when we get into the exam room at the Vet. and after his chemo or blood draws.This is an excellent training tool. My doggies will do anything for these.All of my kitties and doggies have always been rescues, adopted from shelters or rarely strays. PLEASE ADOPT, DON’T SHOP!! Rescues are THE BEST!!!

All of my animals cats and dogs love these freeze dried beef livers. I like how the peices are quit large because I then cut them to way smaller pieces which doubles or triples the amount of pieces this product came with. These training treats are healthy for my animals and they love the flavor of the treats. I love how large this container is and that the lid re-closes and seals shut as to keep the treats from getting stale. I recommend these training treats

The chunks come in a variety of sizes which works out well for me. The big ones can easily be cut down with a knife. The dog is just as happy with several tiny pieces and gets a big piece for a special treat. The bad is that the price has doubled since I started buying these.

My dog absolutely loves Stewart’s freeze dried beef liver! I have started cutting the pieces down into smaller pieces so that I can use it as a food topper in the evening.Pros: 1. He loves this as a food topper!Cons: 1. He makes a mess digging out the liver pieces as he eats them first. 2. He can now tell time as daily at 6pm he is sitting next to me while patiently staring at me!The 1 pro far out ways the 2 cons! We loves Stewart’s!

The puster loves these. I use them as training treats. He's much more responsive to these than the run of the mill treats. Plus it's good for his coat and skin and there is only ONE ingredient. Also appreciate the sturdy plastic tub container too. It's good for keeping the contents well-sealed and fresh. Highly recommend. Will definitely buy again.

My dog loved them, but in the two containers I have received there was a lot of tiny pieces, these little pieces aren't easy to work with when training. They are great for other things, but not for a training secession.

I recently acquired a new dog which needed training. Extensive research showed the best way was to use my dog's daily ration of kibble and use that instead of treats to avoid weight gain and keep treats as high value rewards.I saw on Simpawtico dog training (on YouTube) to use some of this product ground up and sprinkled over the training kibble to make it more interesting. It totally worked.My not so food motivated dog, became more motivated. I now use a mini grater to grate some of the beef liver chunks over the training kibble. This is equivalent to a teaspoon of beef liver and the product is very shelf stable. I have so far used it lots and have hardly made a dent into the amount of product.So used correctly, very cost efficient, very stable and a product dogs go mad for. I would highly recommend if you are using via this method.

I used to buy the big tubs when I lived in the US. I’m now living in the U.K. which I guess is why the price is so high - but you really don’t get a lot for £14. The little tub was only a quarter of the way filled. They are great treats though - just wish they were cheaper.

For £20 get small pot overpriced - opened my oversized package and found very small pot. When realised my error I requested return and amazon informed I was not able to return.. not happy at all

I suppose the clue should have been in the title but even though the product was freeze dried I was expecting a very different texture. I was expecting something akin to a dried jerky but these treats are very crumbly and powdery, they smell gross and the dog (who will genuinely eat anything!) turns her nose up at them. Not worth the money in my opinion.
