Sunluway Hi Lift Jack Mount Hood Hinge/ Door Hinge Bracket for Jeep Wrangler JK JKU JL JLU 2007-2024

I got this to install my badlands trail Jack.Initially I installed this on my hood, but I ended up not liking the look, and was afraid I might get decapitated in an accident with the Jack on the hood.. so I installed it on my back drivers side door(since I take my front doors off frequently.. another reviewer mentioned that “ the washer fluid hit the Jack instead of the windshield,” which when I first mounted the Jack on the hood I had the Jack handle facing the windshield, with it mounted like that it looked like the washer fluid stream would hit the Jack instead of the window. So I flipped it over with the handle facing away from the windshield and the washer fluid did not hit the Jack at all.. very glad I got this mount, I needed a Jack to get a permit to drive on a local beech, so this fit the bill perfectly! I’m especially glad that it can be mounted in multiple places, because I would’ve been pretty bummed if I was stuck with it on my hood. I also don’t see why you couldn’t mount this on your front doors, although I haven’t tried. Pretty happy with it mounted on my door now! For the price, durability, and versatility you really can’t beat this mount!! Has a nice tough finish as well! Love this mount so far!!

These mounts are amazing, I read reviews before buying it, I saw one that said the Velcro strap was sewn too small. They were right it is way too small to wrap around the jack. They look great on the hood, nice power coating almost. They are very stable. I can grab one end of the jack and rock my jeep back and forth. As for the wing nuts I saw another review saying they rattle look, I used a flat head and tightened them down on the spring washer and they haven’t moved at all.

Easy install and mount of jack. But only 2 weeks in and rust is showing. May need to find a way to seal them to stop rust build up. Make sure you do one side at a time if hood mounting. Also you may want to install a small rubber washer to protect the hood / door paint.

Super easy install with no hassle, all parts present in the package. Does not come with instructions in the package but the amazon page has instructions. On jeeps looks like it’s bolt on but I installed it on the roof racks of my Toyota fj, worked perfectly just had to drill 4 holes into the roof racks. Also made custom locks by drilling through the bolts, spray painted little brass locks and put them on so nobody can steal the jack off my car. Best mounting hardware for the price.

Goes on easy, but interferes. Put it on my hood and it blocked my wiper sprayers. So i flipped them around and now i have to remove the jack to open my hood. Lame.

I love that these brackets will fit wherever I want them. I didn't want anything on my hood, and I already have too much on the tailgate. The sides were perfect, plus now the jeep has an exoskeleton. 😉Super easy install, solid parts. It doesn't move at all.
