Bandai Tamashii Nations Super Saiyan Son Goku "Dragonball Z" S.H. Figuarts Action Figure (Discontinued by manufacturer)

One of my all time favorite anime characters and my childhood anime hero, SH Figuarts Super Saiyan Goku definitely brings back that nostalgic feeling from when I watched Dragon Ball Z & GT when I was a kid.Sculpt/Color/Scale:Sculpt is spot on with the series. The figure is just the right size, not to short or too tall. What I really like about his sculpt is that they gave his gi clothing ripples. This really adds a different feel to the figures and make it appear more realistic. Colors fall a little short for me though. The blonde used for his hair I feel should be more darker, it feels a little too light. Same goes for his gi. The orange used is a little too light for me, it should be more darker so that it match more with the series. I heard that the SDCC version is more show accurate color wise, so if you have that you can just swap the heads and you're good to go. Unfortunately for me, I do not have the SDCC version, so I just have to settle for how this one is haha.Figure itself:This is Goku in his Super Saiyan form embodied accurately from the show. The sculpted muscle detail on his arms and chest area really shows off that Saiyan physique from the show. Articulation is just like with every SH Figuarts out there. You can pose him in any way a human can, and so much more as well.Accessories:-In addition to his default serious face, he comes with another one with a screaming expression or that shouts "KAMEHAMEHA!"-A set open, widespread Ki blast hands, a set of hands for forming his Kamehameha attack, and his default closed fists.Compared to my other Figuarts, Goku lacks in this department. He doesn't have as many accessories as I would like. I thought he would've came with a Kamehameha wave blast or Ki blast accessory, but sadly he does not. But that should not be enough to deter you from getting this figure.Overall, I love this figure. It gives physical form to one of my favorite anime characters and series of all time. So if you specifically have a DBZ SH Figuarts collection or a SH Figuarts colleciton in general, I highly suggest you get this figure while it's a decent price. Definite worth the money.

I LOVE THIS TOY. Looks great in my office! But there are some pros/cons to consider.Let's start with the bad...Cons:- It is actually fairly difficult to move the body parts into the same positions shown on the box. Had a lot of trouble getting the hands right for the kamehameha. Even when I "got it" the hands still didn't seem to line up like the box shows. Could just be me. I'll play with it some more.- The hands are actually semi difficult to change. Takes a bit of force to push them on. Worries me.- It's REALLY hard to stand up. I don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but I can't seem to find a good footing where the action figure stands on its own..- The legs have semi limited movement. I was surprise to see how much the legs could move, but I struggled with the fact that the legs cannot reach a high kicking position. They stop just sort of the torso. This also limits his ability to throw a high knee to someone's chest.- The hair piece is fairly loose straight out of the box. It doesn't seem like it'll hold up many face changes :/- Limited faces. Only two faces, it really needs a goofy, happy Goku :/- Many of the joints are a similar color, but the elbow joints are a strange pale color. It kind of makes the arms look silly in some positions.- NOT FOR CHILDRENPros:- Looks great from far away. Detail is amazing.- Vivid colors. The shading and colors look spectacular.- Instant transmission hand, but it really only stays in place when the hair holds his hand to his head.- The shoulder pads do move to cover a wide range of arm movements.Overall, it's a great display piece possibility worth the $30 I paid for it but not much more than that IMO.

This is without a doubt, one of the best Goku figures out there! I bought this for my 11 year old boy to go with the Gohan in this same series, and he loves it! I recommend this for older people more because it says on the box "Ages 15 and up" so before I gave this and the Gohan to him I specifically said be super careful. It has held up well! Not even a scratch! Goku comes with 2 faces (powering up face and serious face), 2 fists, 2 Kamehameha hands, 2 "Ki Blast" hands and a "Instant Transmission" hand. He is also really articulate! He looks just like he does in the anime. The only problems are the high prices, and my son said he wanted a "happy face to go with Gohan's happy face". I totally recommend this to any collector!

This figure is my first SH Figurart. I always wanted a well articulated Goku figure because non-articulated sculptures don't really excite me. I was really happy when I ordered this one, as it has a reasonable price and appeared to be great. I received it before expected and I was really impressed with the figure and the good shape of its box! The figure itself it's absolutely amazing and I think any DBZ fall would love it as much as I do! I definitely recommend this amazing figure! With this being my first SH Figurar, now I am looking to get more! I must also amid that the vendor did a great job with my order, thanks!

This is the ultimate Son Goku action figure, the sculpt is spot on, the details are amazing, the extra hands and face are awesome; The figure itself have a lot of attitude just being on the package. It is not only super saijan, but super articulated too. The only complaint I can make is the light orange color, that is not the same of its TV's counterpart, and the size fits right on with most Marvel Legends, and even if you are not a scale nazi, with DC universe. I cant complaint for adding a fine Son Goku Action figure to my collection, specially at the 35,99 price of amazon.

Awesome product.... Very Light weighted and easy to handle.... One of the best action figures i can say of my collection.... If you are a fan of goku this one is must!
