Excellently written, simple format but informative. My first graders loved them as we studied animal adaptations in different habitats. Could easily be enjoyed by other grades, too. Beautiful photos as well. I recommend all the habitats this series has (I bought 4)!

This book was a great resource for teaching adaptations during a rainforest unit with 5th graders. It includes a variety of animals and how their physical characteristics help them survive. A+

Am a year 5 teacher. Ordered this to link with Science alongside our Rainforest topic. Photos of animals are great but unfortunately, book is VERY short and there is limited information - and none I didn't know already!
