Im impressed with this lure , great colors and sturdy ; only reason I gave 4 stars is it doesn't come with hooks. I used 120# split rings size 6 and gamakatsu treble short shank size 1.

My son and I have used this a few times on a couple different rods and line weights. On the cast it wobbles in flight and on the retrieve there isn't much action. We tried fast and slow retrieves and just can't get it to work well. Its a nice looking lure and for the price was worth the try but I think we'll be modifying it to see if we can improve the action.

Can't wait to try these. Size 8 owner split rings and 7/0-8/0 single replacement hooks fit perfectly. Using on an upcoming trip to the keys.

it's a beautiful bait, big and feels sturdy, though you can tell the metal pieces(tips) are not connected.I found there is a seam at every spot the tip comes out, I used some glue to seal the seam.Will update when I come back from big canal.
