I bought this to practice balayage on. I haven't colored it yet so I can't comment on that part yet but it's a really nice head of hair. It was def worth the money. It was a few inches shorter than advertised but still long enough to practice braiding or what ever you'd like.

Used to train assistant and for education classes. Used color and cuts and was very impressed on how the quality of the hair. Was in a pinch and used as a wig stand to color cut and wash. Easy to insert pins in and sturdy.

you can lighten this hair, it took me 4 hours with 40 volume bleach to get to a level seven on the brown mannequin head. you can blow dry, curl, and cut this hair. it’s not 100% human hair but it’s enough to be similar to practice. the density is pretty thin and there are a lot of split ends. when i tried to flat iron the hair, the ends never seemed to be sleek. i would probably have to cut to a short bob length to be rid of all the split ends. the hair is still pretty soft in spite of the split ends.

We’re incredibly pleased with this product. Hair securely on mannequin head, very few strands come out when brushing. I will say the length of hair is a bit shorter than what is pictured - I got the longest length available. It’s not a deal breaker though. Still long enough for a pony tail and all sorts of other practice. The face is still a tad creepy, but less off putting than some of the other options with other companies. The mount works perfectly on my table. Overall, very pleased with the quality! Thanks!

I need a doll to practice how to do updos, and I love this doll bc you can curl or hair & it perfectly find it dosent burn or anything. Idk about dying the hair bc I don’t need it for that. But it perfect for practicing updo or curls

It's more like percentage of 60 maybe even 45% you can't dye it it does curl but there are way to many hair follicles on that little child mannequin head! ,,,, you basically have to wet the hair every time you want to straighten it or do any different style you have to wet it all over again because the previous hairstyle just stays embedded in the hair

I ordered 22”, but the one I received is barely 18 inches long. Initially I thought they sent the wrong item, so I ordered a replacement. The new one came exactly as the same as the first one. I wonder how on earth did they measure that as 22”?The other big issue I have with this one is the layers are too high. There volume is ok at the upper head, but gets a lot thinner towards the ends. When you do a ponytail you get very little hair, which makes it difficult to style.This is the 5th hair dummy I own, I have to say the quality of hair is very nice, the touch is quite similar to real hair. But the length is a big issue. Hope they can solve that problem.
