Looking like a tiny pedal harp, this product is a great little piece of harp art, a replica. It is NOT a real harp instrument; the strings make no "musical" noise. However, they have the look that they might could produce music. You can even see the harp's "sound" holes, which adds a touch of realism to this table ornament. This is basically a collectible piece, and with some fragile elements, it would NOT be appropriate for small children.The music box mechanism seems to be in the base, and to play the song, "The Music of the Night" from The Phantom of the Opera, one has to gently wind the little silver key / crank on the bottom. The music is pleasant and adds interest to this unusual, decorative piece. One may not, upon first glance, realize that it is a music box. From studying the product, it does appear to be handcrafted because it has features and elements that feel hand-wrought and unique. Some people who like perfect details in their products may be put off by aspects like a tiny paint spot or to on the base or feet. However, I like these elements because it reminds me that humans were involved in the conception and creation of this item.My Miniature Harp Music Box arrived in its very own case, which was a clever little touch. Makes a fun ":thinking of you" gift for the harper or harpist in you life.

I got it for 17$ total because it was blem. I just needed to use some wood glue on a part. It’s awesome for under 20$ but I don’t think I’d love it if I payed $50. It’s cool that it winds up and plays a tune.

The harp is beautiful. Well constructed for display but not for play (meaning it's not a toy). Beautiful music though duration is short. Would have been nice if the strings were real and a stool included for display enhancement, however, I am still very pleased with my purchase.

Arrived in excellent condition, lovely piece, while the other reviewer's comment that real strings would be nice, I still love it and would recommend it without hesitation.

Got it for my friend as a gift, I was very happy with how it looked and so was she and all of her friends and family. Very cool and pretty. And the box was amazing.

This was a gift for my niece and she loved it too. It arrived in great condition. The case was also very high-quality. It plays beautifully and looks very nice.... Well worth the money!
