My British friend was thrilled with this package! Everything she loved from her home country! Great Gift!!

THE GREAT BRITISH TEA HAMPER MAY BE CONSIDERED BY SOME TO NOT BE SO GREAT.This other-than-bargain-priced item (understandable mid inflation) may be considered cute by some and disappointing by others. Among other things:1. The blue of the flag and trim on the bag appear turquoise/sky blue (other than as expected);THE BAG IS NOT AS PICTURED and does not read/state "Basically British" as pictured on the product page;2. The items are 'miniature' sized (not-so-great) and not all are packaged as pictured on the product page;3. The product I received (with drooping bow) looks shop-worn (at best);4. The cute coasters are in a pouch and the pouch I received appears damaged (discolored/defective);5. Cardboard (Cadbury) packaging appears battered; note: I have not inspected the interior product;6. I was unable to find a 'use-by' date on the Cadbury product but, fyi, do note the following variable product sell-by dates [To be fair and give credit: No date stated reflects expiration]:mini tea tin states 10/2022, so points for a 'best by' date appearing on the 15 g (0.5 oz) tea tin,and the 30/04/2022 date on the distressingly flattened and 'wrinkled' packet of fudge,and the 09/2023 date on the Bonne Maman product),and the 09/2022 stamped n the cellophane Walkers wrapper,and 11 06 22 of the cello wrap of the now crushed crackers.....7. The package of 'Thorntons Fabulous Fudge' looks the antithesis of fabulous; it looks like it was run over (contents have not been inspected);8. The 2 crackers are merely crushed remnants -- literally crumbs (as received);9. The Walkers shortbread is NOT as pictured, is not in packaging: I received two pieces in cellophane wrap tossed in the bag..So I am disappointed and this item will not be a product I will be gifting to others (as I had intended and hoped). In sum: This product suggests a good concept that has suffered in execution and fulfillment.

I received this gift bag as a gift for Mother's Day. I enjoyed the selection and variety of British goods. The coasters are adorable. What I was not impressed with is the fact the chocolate items were melted and dried out. I do not know if they were shipped this way or melted in transit.
