As I struggled to get the correct sizing for my 8 month old heeler x collie and 4 month old goldendoodle, I ordered close to the estimated size and one size higher. That left me with a size 3, 4 and 5.The goldendoodle is a medical alert service animal in training and goes most everywhere with me. This means he is frequently taking quick trips across hot parking lots, longer if we need to find a potty spot.The heeler x collie needs a lot more physical exercise to keep him from being bored or restless. He goes on 30 to 45 minute walks almost every day. Some of the road is paved, some of it is gravel but when you can feel the heat through your own shoes, imagine what it's doing to a dog's paw?The last reason I got these shoes is because I live in a very cold climate during winter. It's so bad dogs are known to limp and get frostbite from the pain of being out in -20 F snow. These shoes happen to be summer, winter and water approved so that covers us year round. My older dog has a couple shoes too large for her and a pair of socks. In winter, just the socks do her fine but she doesn't go far due to her age and has the sense to come inside before her feet are torn to shreds.Little tip for how to get your dogs use to the shoes. I gave them their favorite high value chew, a bully braid for the heeler x collie and a cow ear for the doodle, obviously separately or none of this would habe been possible. While they enjoyed their treat, I gently put the shoes on one paw at a time, praising them for being so good. The doodle gave me some trouble but not until the last boot. I tried playing fetch but neither pups were interested with something on their feet. So instead I did some kibble treated training. Basic commands they know and love, some involving minimal movement and some involving running across the room. By the end of the short training session, the heeler wore those boots like a pro and the doodle was tolerating his. For removal, I simply got them to come, treat, paw, yes, remove shoe, treat and praise. Repeated the process for each paw on each dog.

These work great for our Golden, but I wish I'd ordered a size smaller. I measured exactly like the directions explained and ordered a size XL. I wish I'd ordered a L though, because when he runs in them, they all end up flipping around and that is the reason we needed them. There are a bunch of burs behind our house and he loves to run there and play fetch. We pull the velcro as tight as possible, but it still isn't enough to hold them tight. So while they do still protect his feet from the burs, he obviously doesn't like to run when they get turned around and it's uncomfortable for him. We end up having to switch them around everytime we throw the ball. So overall-they seem to be a great product and protect his feet-I just wish I'd sized down.

I posted a review a couple of days ago and stated that we have been very pleased with these shoes. Our dogs have never wore anything on their feet, so I needed to work them in slowly. Both of dogs responded to treats and praises, so of course we are going over board on both. Our 7 yr old is a red nose pit and is 80 lbs and I ordered a size 8. The shoe has fits good. Our other dog is a 5 yr old American Bulldog and he is around 85 lbs, he also is wearing a size 8. You will need to learn how to use the velcro straps to make them snug around there legs it’s easy, but important for a good fit.Definitely would recommend these shoes. If your dog has never wore shoes before, please take your time and work with them. I have been putting them on 2-3 times a day to help them get use to them. They are doing really good.

I had issues finding the correct boot size and was emailing customer service (Morris) daily. He provided quick response. I finally figured out how to measure my dog’s foot which ended up being 3”w x 3.25 L so we chose a size 8. So far so good, except for an occasional missing boot but I'm practicing how tight to secure the straps (we’re only on day 2). This task (securing straps) is made more difficult due to Wiley’s long hair, which flattens after awhile. Also, learned a trick for measuring which is to raise the opposite foot being measured. This puts weight on the foot that’s down and therefore, flattens out to get a more accurate measurement. (BTW, before I learned this trick I kept measuring .75” less wide). The interior is smooth cloth-like so his feet don’t seem to get sweaty but still prevents those nasty foxtails. The only thing I would recommend is while selling two pair, give the option to give size by pairs to accommodate the smaller back feet. Product is new but so far, seems to be well made...

I ordered them and they look good. The size runs big. I ordered a 7 for my 72 pound husky and they were to big. The ad said they were 2.8 wide and they are 3 1/8 inches wide. I'm not sure If the 2.8 is centimeters or inches.I'm returning them for the next size down.Update. I received the smaller size 6 at it fits great. My husky took right to them. As soon as I put them onwe all had a good laugh as she was getting use to them. Then right away she wanted to go for a walk. I will add some pictures soon.

We have purchased 7 different brands of dog booties and not one of them worked, but then we bought these and they do work and we have purchased several sets since then for our many collies. They love them. We live in New Mexico and the ground and asphalt are always very hot and we don't have to worry about the temps when we use these boots. They go on snug and don't crowd the toes and cause them to roll up and roll their nails under their pads. Debris stays out of the tops of them too. The straps hold well and are easy to put on and off. They also wash well and dry quickly. We are stopped all the time and asked about these boots and we recommend them to everyone. Pour protéger les coussinets de ma chienne du bitume brûlant en été. Bien reçu, super jolie couleur, semblent de bonne qualité, à voir à l'usage, légères, taille ça à l'air d'aller. 6 pour chien de 24kg. On a essayé et même si elle n'est pas enthousiaste lol lol, elle a plutôt bien réagit et s'est bien débrouillée pour une première. A voir en balade maintenant 😂

These dog shoes are very well made and come with a guide on how to start training your dog to wear them. Seller was very helpful with finding the right size, kind and courteous. Would highly recommend!

Our 12 yo dog has arthritis in its paws and found it difficult to walk on floorboards. The boots have given her the security to move around the house. It’s a great product and the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the material is a little too rigid compared to past shoes we purchased from the same Supplier.

I really did give these shoes a fair go. I conditioned my border collie pup to these shoes before use so she was completely comfortable with them and they still are just the worst things ever, sure they will protect you dogs paws but they chafe on her dew claw leaving her in more pain then she would have been without them.She could barely go 10 minutes before wanting to walk slower or lay down and this is a high drive sports dog we are talking.Really don’t recommend these.
