Motion detection did not work for my GW NVR.
Updating my review. The camera's motion detection failed to work with my NVR. When trying to get an idea why and if I could fix it, the seller kept avoiding that it could be a camera issue and continued to assume it was my NVR, it's set up and it's Onvif capabilities. After several attempts I finally asked the seller if I should return it or get a replacement to see if it would work. I never heard back at that point so It was returned. It would have been nice if the seller responded and I would have worked with the seller for an RMA to see if I could get one to work properly. I Should downgrade to one star.Originally I liked the camera as it had a nice clear picture and good night vision. Unfortunately it is not entirely Onvif compatible. The seller should know it's the camera which initiates the triggers, etc. and should have tried to work with me. My NVR is Onvif and does not have many issues with most cameras and I have tried many different ones.

Has outdated software on it.
Worse than outdated software, it's not even possible to configure the camera without the use of an obsolete browser. My solution was to spin up a virtual machine and load a copy of Windows 95. Only then could I get the web interface to work. The camera itself is OK. Has good night vision, only slightly grainy and works well in low light color. The picture quality is high, but the motion capture is not. The refresh rate is very slow and you get a lot of motion blur not found in other cameras. Good enough that I'm not going to return it, but bad enough that I won't buy another one.

Good image, disappointing features.
The camera has a very good image quality, but the lens is only F2, 85degrees angle. Almost useless as a standalone camera, very few features compared even with a cheap camera: no schedule for email or notifications, no ftp upload, no multiple images per email, no video attached to email, no SD card slot. Works well in RTSP mode with BlueIris in H.265 mode. I hope the new firmware will add more features.

Great camera, responsive and knowledgeable support, but Windows-only to configure
Nice sturdy construction, smaller than any outdoor 4K (or 1080P) IP camera I've worked with before.Camera's image is nice and clear, does respectably trying to provide color support in very low-light conditions, IR illumination only kicks in (and IR-cut filter and B&W camera image) when it's nearly pitch black. Not had a chance to check, but I wouldn't be surprised if it managed color with just a full moon for illumination.Support is fantastic, they responded to a web-submitted question within about 2 hours on a Sunday evening, then to a reply to their response email, and were friendly and knowledgeable.Things I wish I'd known up front: The available Android (and presumably iPhone) app is strictly a viewer, no config options. There are configuration/viewer apps for Windows and Mac systems, but web browser login will NOT work unless you're on an older Windows system and browser that will support the required browser plugin and Java. (This is the only reason I dinged it one star) Since I'm a linux-only kind of guy, that's a problem for me. (and is why I reached out to support) The Windows Viewer app is required to get at all the settings, and will NOT (so far) install on Linux under Wine. There IS, however, a second config app for Windows that WILL install under Wine, but it offers very limited control - basically network settings. BE WARNED, if you use this config app and try to change the password on the camera, it also changes the username to the same string as the password. (at least until they've fixed that bug and released a new version of the app)No drama or complications pulling a 3840x2160 stream from it with ONVIF or via RTSP. Tested with IPCamViewer app (Robert Chou) on Android, and RTSP tested with VLC on a PC. (RTSP main 4k stream is at rtsp://user:password@ipaddress:554/ch01/0)So in short, I'm very satisfied with the camera for the price (I caught it at eighty), but if (like me) you avoid Windows computers then you need to be aware of the limitations. If like most people you ARE a Windows user then don't hesitate if you're considering this camera.j

GREAT CAMERA GREAT COMPANY
I have purchased other security cameras over the years and I must say that this GoSwift 4K security camera surpasses my expectations. I was amazed by how easy it was to set up. The 4k picture quality is EXCELLENT!! The quality and craftsmanship used to build the camera is first rate. As important as these things are in a great product one other thing is just as important or more important. That is customer service. Customer service is EXCELLENT. They respond to e-mails, and answers questions immediately. The service is friendly and they are knowledgeable. All this makes a great company and a great product. I highly recommend them to everyone and I am purchasing more products from them.

BEST Camera I own
I was incredibly surprised at this camera all around, during the day the picture is pristine, and at night, it's crystal clear. It was so simple to setup and add to blue iris it took all of 2 minutes to get it setup. BONUS x2, 1! It came with a waterproof housing for the ethernet cable that you can actually slide the ethernet cable through, the last 2 camera's I purchased did not even (thought that standard) and 2. It came with it's own POE brick. Top that off with this only being $83, you can't beat this camera. I'm extremely and pleasantly surprised. My only CON for this is, you have to install a plugin on your computer and you must use IE, the plugin has a Chinese name and I don't really trust that... so I'm not sure if it's some kind of back door but I'll be removing that plugin now that the camera is setup and blocking all traffic externally.
