This dog gate exceeded expectations in every regard. Very attractive and sturdy. Very good price, and as good or better than other gates we’ve tried that cost substantially more. Contrary to some reviews, we received 4 support feet, one for each panel. They are padded, and there is a thin padded layer on the notch where they fit over the base of the panels, keeping them nice and snug. There was a gluey sticker on one of the feet, but easily removed with a spray of Goo-Gone. We are used to barriers that have to be zigzagged to stand up, but with the included feet, this will stand up firmly supported to its full length. Four panels covers a large doorway, but it would be very easy to remove one panel if you wished. The hinges are truly 360 degree hinges, and the gate will fold totally flat in any direction. The 30 inch height seems like a perfect balance. It is tall enough to contain our larger dog, without looking too imposing. You can step over it easily enough if you use some care. It is just a nice looking very functional gate. Just wish it was made in USA. I guess nothing is any longer.

This is a very beautiful gate and looks like a piece of furniture. Much lovelier and with more options for use than the average pressure gates. We needed a barrier for our two rambunctious dogs so we could contain them when we have guests. Ours came with he feet inside the box. Love that the hinges allow so many configurations. I thought it would be too heavy because of the weight when I lifted the boxed item. But the gate is actually 23.81 pounds and when spread out is not too have, and is sturdy. Customer service is responsive via email but takes a day to hear back from them. They answered me between 9pm and 6 am. After receiving the gate, I thought it would be too heavy and big for me to operate. And the 3 panel would be enough. But it’s not prime shipping so customer pays the return shipping to CA which is expensive. (From Texas FedEx shows a cost of $40 and Bonnlo return label uses FedEx ground). So be sure it’s what you want. The 4 panel is 23.81 lbs. by itself and 26.4 when including the box (for shipping and you must return it in the original box). So about 6 lbs per panel. Easy and not heavy for a guest to move aside to get to another room. It’s 30” high so my jumper can’t get over it yet it’s not so high that it looks overwhelming, even in our smaller house.

We really like this gate! We are using it to close off our little dog from the family room when his paws are wet from the snow or rain after he has been out. It works quite well for this purpose. It is sturdy with the feet and beautiful. It goes well with all the different woods in this area of our home and isn’t a distraction when open or closed. Our dog isn’t one who pushes on the gate so this one works perfectly for us. It is solid but I am not sure with some clever dogs or a toddler how it would do.It is light and easy enough to move to the side when ever we need to do it. It also gives our dog space in the kitchen while we are gone where he can’t get into as much trouble. Been a great buy for us!

I wanted to like this gate, but it wasn't as functional as I had hoped. The gate itself is fairly heavy and reasonably well constructed except for the 2 additional "feet". The wood used is solid and well finished. It's appearance was better then I had hoped. Those describing it as a "piece of furniture" are correct. The problems I have is with its sturdiness and customer support. First, realize that this gate is truly freestanding. It doesn't lock or attach to anything. This allows for even mild to moderate force to move one of the panels or knock it over. I had thought of this, but that is where the added feet should come in. They just "drop" in over the bottom rail to help stabilize it. The problem is their opening that allows it to slide over the bottom rail was much too wide on both of our feet. So it wobbled badly, allowing our 16 pound dog to move it or even knock it over with ease. So, I contacted the company and waited 48 hours for a response. Right at that deadline, I got a response that they would discount it 25% off if I kept it. I responded no and again waited another 48 hours for a response. Both of these to within 30 min of 48 hours as if they have them on a timer. They did issue a return authorization and return shipping tag, which I commend them for doing. When I tracked the shipment back, I noticed the tag was generated 2 days before I got it, again making me think they have their response emails on a delay.

The gate arrived well packed and intact. The gate is definitely sturdy when it is 'zig-zagged'. If you open it up completely straight it does wobble. Make sure you get a size large enough for your opening so you maintain some angles between the panels for stabilization. The feet that fit over the bottom rail fit snugly- unlike other reviews mention (maybe they improved the design). The 4-panel design came with 4 feet. I put two adjacent on one end and they do not move around and they weight the ends. The hinges look ok, but I hope they are substantial enough to hold up with continued use. They are multi directional so you can pivot the panels in both directions. The hinges on other gates we had were not multi directional and loosened and eventually fell out over time. Overall, would recommend.

This is a rock solid wooden gate that is not only nice looking & huge (82" Wide, 30" High), but also comes pre-assembled AND with FOUR removable feet. All for $64.99 shipped to your door (at the time fo this review).That's the price of many other gates that are either shorter in length, not as tall or without ANY feet. And just as a reference, the price for a set of two feet is roughly $20.00 on Amazon.The only downside is that this deal isn't under Prime. So, you will have to wait a little while for it to arrive. However, if you can get past our addiction with 2 day shipping, then this is the best gate deal on Amazon!
